Run quickly, collect rings, don’t crash into anything. That’s been Sonic’s credo since the start, and Sonic Dash 2 lets the good times roll (into a ball).

Swipe left and right to change lanes and snatch those shimmering golden hoops. Swipe up to leap over rocks, land mines, and other deadly hazards. And swipe down to curl into Sonic’s iconic ball form—great for plowing through Robotnik’s minions!

And brace for some major auditory nostalgia thanks to the instantly recognizable sound effects. It’s impossible to forget that distinct, brain-tickling chime of Sonic grabbing rings. Ka-ching!

In Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, there’s no need to go solo. Build a team of three characters straight out of Sonic’s past: Tails, Knuckles, and even the mysterious Shadow the Hedgehog make an appearance. Swap among them—and use their special abilities, like Amy’s obstacle-smashing hammer—as the race wears on.

You get even more assistance with Sprites—tiny ghost-like critters that hover over your runner’s shoulder. Collect these to gain helpful powers, like an extra revive or more shield power-ups. Not only can they make or break a run, they’re cute to boot!

All those coins you collect aren’t just for show. Spend them to upgrade your characters’ stats and you’ll be racking up high scores in a flash.

Be bold! Swiping at the last second to avoid smashing into an obstacle adds to your score-boosting combo meter (and looks cool too).
