Cruise to Victory with Static Shift Racing
Race around an open-world playground.
Experience the thrill of racing in an open-world playground.
Feel like a leisurely drive? Or in the mood for a blazing-fast time trial? Take your pick in Static Shift Racing. While cruising through an open-world city, you can hop into all sorts of events—from drift competitions to lap races—or just roam freely and enjoy the stunning scenery.
What we love: All the little details. The game’s ever-expanding town includes narrow freeways, twisty mountain roads, fences to smash through (shortcut!), and obstacle-filled industrial areas. Plus, gearheads will have a blast giving their rides sweet customizations like chrome rims and a pearlescent paint-job.
Quick tip: In drift zones, less is more! Don’t try for one huge drift by mashing the handbrake at high speed—you’re likely to hit a wall and lose all your points. Instead, gently tap the hand brake at medium speed to execute a few controlled drifts and reach the target score without crashing.
Meet the creator: A two-person studio based in Victoria, Australia, Timbo Jimbo is named after programmer Tim Aksu and artist Jim (James) Bryce. Static Shift Racing is their first game.
