Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Launches March 21

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Launches March 21

The mobile battlefield is about to get a lot bigger. On March 21, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile brings the hugely popular battle royale to iPhone and iPad. Loaded with fan-favorite modes and systems, it delivers slick new twists exclusive to mobile. Ready for some recon? Here are our five favorite features:

Don’t let the beautiful snowcapped mountains fool you—Verdansk is filled with danger.

1. The return to Verdansk

The original Verdansk map from Call of Duty: Warzone on console/PC makes the move to mobile. Popular points of interest—like the TV Station, Dam, Stadium, and Prison—are here in all their glory, along with a wealth of vehicles to help you zip across terrain. Longtime Call of Duty fans will feel right at home.

2. It’s massive

While many battle royale games max out at 100 players, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile ups the ante to 120—a difference that’s palpable when you’re roaming Verdansk. More enemies mean less downtime, especially in the new ultrafast Blitz Royale mode. With the circle shrinking, intense action is around every blind corner.

Place every button exactly where you want it.

3. The customizable controls

It’s tough to thrive in a battle royale without spot-on controls. With Warzone Mobile, you can mix, match, and move onscreen button prompts—like reloading and tactical sprinting—and even tweak button size, location, and opacity to ensure you never lose sight of the action. Plus, with multiple loadouts and tons of gear, attachments, and skins, building a character to match your play style is a cinch.

Operators are shared between games.

4. Everything’s connected

Warzone Mobile is interwoven into the broader Call of Duty universe—not just its setting and lore, but also its progression system. Many of the goodies you unlock in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III or Warzone 2.0 on console/PC will show up in Warzone Mobile—and vice versa! Battle Pass progress is shared among games, as are Operators, weapons, and even your friends list.

5. Mobile-only features

Warzone Mobile has plenty of exclusive content. Limited-time game-specific events keep things fresh—and dedicated players can take a few spins at the Keep (similar to the Lucky Draw in Call of Duty: Mobile) to score unique rewards.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile comes out March 21. Pre-order the game to have it download automatically to your iPhone or iPad upon release.
