You’re an Artist! Paint your way to prosperity in Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist
Is it art, or is it commerce? In Passpartout 2: The Lost Artist, it’s both! As a down-on-his-luck artiste, explore a picturesque French town while taking on jobs for the locals, like painting a sign warning of the man-eating fish in the harbor. Chase the dream of seeing your work hung in a famous museum—and earn a little scratch too!
What we love: Creating awesome art. It’s a blast using paints, pencils, and sponges to express yourself on virtual canvases. Whether you’ve composed a detailed landscape or scribbled an abstract blob with crayons, there’s bound to be someone in town willing to pony up for your work.
Quick tip: Using your fingertips to create fine art is great fun, but playing on iPad with an Apple Pencil feels like the real deal. Whatever device you use, try rotating it while painting to switch your canvas between portrait and landscape presentation.
Meet the creator: Swedish studio Flamebait Games was founded by five recent university graduates, who kicked off their company with the 2017 original Passpartout. Inspired by Bob Ross’ theory of “happy little accidents,” the developers decided once again to not add an eraser tool to the game.
