To gain the two stars they need to allow phone recording for those that pay to use the service. At the time it’s only available if the entire agency signs up to use the app. ### 2/5 — Caller ID names *2023-03-30, version 5.0.0* I submitted a request for them to add Arson Investigator to the list of caller ID names and got a response back saying they would not be adding it. didn't even give me an explanation. Arson Investigators are licensed police officers who focus primarily on incendiary fires and rely heavily on witnesses so it's unfortunate they wouldn't add the title to the list of options. ### 4/5 — Call Recording *2023-02-08, version 4.6.0* Please make this available for individual officers/users. I have to force close the app after every phone call to make another one. Sometimes they connect with the intended person, but on my end it does not show connected. So I have to force close the app and try again, but they could hear me. Kind of aggravating. But it’s better than giving out my personal number and being harassed off the clock. Then when you do get a call to go out, a third of them are just dropped. My only complaint would be the automated text message that’s sent to the recipient if they don’t answer. It is hit or miss if they answer or not. If they don’t answer they have to go through the hassle of calling our busy dispatch center, transferring the call etc. With this app, it actually gives them a random number to call back and it notifies you via the app. I find it very useful for patrol when your trying to do follow up or your RP just wants a 10-21 prior to responding. When the RP calls back it even gives them the disclaimer, “ if this an emergency hang up and dial 911”. You have to get it! ### 5/5 — Most Useful App for LE *2020-02-18* Having been in law enforcement for 16+ years, I’ve used everything over the years from dialing *67 before each call (leading to many ignored calls) to buying a second pre-paid phone specifically for work use, to the hassle of having dispatch dial numbers for me and connect me. The 10-21 app is by far the most effective and economical resource. Even with an agency-issued phone, it is still extremely useful in allowing me to keep my number private to avoid calls while I’m off-duty, busy at work, or becoming someone’s “personal deputy” whenever they need something after I return their call and expose my number. The app is user friendly and rarely has any glitches or issues. Highly recommend for ALL law enforcement officers, and I look forward to the upcoming premium version with even more features. ### 5/5 — Absolutely amazing! *2019-10-29* This app is an absolute MUST HAVE for every Law Enforcement Officer. The system works flawlessly. The best part of this application is I can use my personal cell phone at work and not worry about accidentally giving away my personal number to a citizen. I can comfortably separate my personal and professional calls now. This will remain on my phone for the duration of my career and I will be suggesting it to the officers I work with.
