### 5/5 — Essential podcast

*2026-07-12, version 1.2.1*

Essential podcast. Can go back to past episodes again and again, which I think is a true testament to the thoughtfulness and care they put into this work. Dan Harris is here lifting all the boats with skepticism, wit, and grace. It is his killer combination.

### 5/5 — Grateful for this community & Delighted with this App!

*2026-07-12, version 1.2.1*

This is absolutely everything I have been hoping for all in one place!

I’m delighted that Dan and his team have launched this wonderful new app so that all of his content is so easily accessible in one place. The team has truly listened to all of the recommendations from his loyal fan base over the last year and a half and developed a wonderful, simple app to make meditations, podcasts and community so easily accessible.

Great job team, thank you so much!

### 5/5 — Best podcast for meaningful strategies to improve outlook and enjoy life

*2026-07-09, version 1.2.1*

I have been a fan for years and have always appreciated Dan’s journalistic approach. As a former journalist I particularly enjoy his interview style and ability to simplify complex or lesser known topics and make them relatable.

### 5/5 — >10%

*2026-07-09, version 1.2.1*

I listen to this podcast nearly every day. My life is richer and I am >10% happier because of it!

### 5/5 — Go to app

*2026-07-09, version 1.2.1*

This is my mainstay go-to app. Every day. Game changer. Oxygen for living life. Peace.

### 5/5 — Great mindfulness app

*2026-07-05, version 1.2.1*

Unique take on mindfulness with focus on community

### 5/5 — So useful

*2026-07-03, version 1.2.1*

What a great, enriching resource. Thank you!

### 5/5 — 10% changed my life

*2026-06-26, version 1.2.1*

In the midst of a midlife crisis, after leaving my career and focusing on parenthood with neurodivergent child, I felt scared, lost lonely, etc., and.. somehow I stumbled upon the 10% pod. I then read the book, and so many others from those who Dan had interviewed. I began learning about the dharma and meditating. One day I woke up in the middle of a meditation and realized now is here. So I enrolled in a local community college, completed nursing school prereqs, and recently received my acceptance letter to nursing school. By loosening the grip on myself, and even relative reality, a 10% shift has led to quite drastic trajectory of my life. I have such gratitude to this team for all the things they do and bring to the world.

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2026-06-26, version 1.2.1*

Dan Harris was a regular fixture in our home as we watched abc news when he was a reporter and anchor. I’ve been following him ever since and learned how to meditate from him. I read his books and appreciate his commitment to making the world a better place through his teachings. This app has a lot to offer and has improved the quality of my life without a doubt.

### 5/5 — Keeps me sane

*2026-06-24, version 1.2.1*

I've been following Dan's work since his first book. I am grateful for this app and his podcast. The content is the best out there. Always honest and rigorously researched. The meditations are very helpful and just the right level for where ever you happen to be or whatever is going on. It's a beautiful community. Highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Join this community!

*2026-06-20, version 1.2.1*

This new app is even better because there is a more extensive menu of practices to choose from! I still love the podcasts and learn so much from these interviews but there is more connection and community with live Q and A with various teachers combined with guided meditations. I’m loving the apps practice labs too….definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to sample or further their meditation practice.

### 5/5 — So recommend for everyone

*2026-06-16, version 1.2.1*

Wonderfully accessible. What a friendly, warm and inspiring place. Fantastic array of mindfulness and Bhuddist related teachings and techniques. So interesting and inclusive. Thank you to everyone inviting in making this. I’m really grateful.

### 5/5 — Heidi

*2026-06-14, version 1.2.1*

Dan is always looking at new ways to bring his community together and offer them the best support and guidance - it’s so lovely and comforting to be part of. I use the guided meditations every day and enjoy the live sessions. It’s really not expensive and worth every penny - thanks Dan ❤️

### 5/5 — A 10% Better App

*2026-06-12, version 1.2.1*

I’ve been meditating with Dan + friends since the New Year’s Challenge of 2020, before I even knew about the podcast. About 2 years later, I started attending a local in-person sangha. Today, I maintain both and have deepened my practice with daylong retreats, courses, and reading. I wasn’t sure about transitioning to Substack and then here, but this version of the app is at least 10% better. My favorite dropped feature is the streak count. As a recovering perfectionist and chronic overachiever prone to addiction, I am so much more grounded without the distraction of quantifying my practice. Instead, I am infinitely more mindful of my how practice improves and I am so much more resilient and grateful. Thank you to the whole team. 🙏🏼

### 5/5 — 10% X 10

*2026-06-11, version 1.2.1*

I really appreciate Dan and his guests every time I listen. Great insight along with laughter makes this the perfect app for me. Thank you Dan. May your troubles be few and far between. 🤗

### 5/5 — Great Tool for your Meditation Practice

*2026-06-05, version 1.2.1*

This app is a great support for your meditation practice regardless of your experience. I’m pretty much a beginner and tend to start and stop my practice over and over again. But each time I start(restart) I come back to this app. It offers so many ways to grow my meditation practice in a way that works for me. I enjoy the podcasts that dive deeper into meditation and the ways I can grow both in my practice and in my personal life. The meditation instructors are amazing. There is so much here for you to explore.

### 5/5 — wonderful

*2026-06-02, version 1.2.1*

i’ve had this for around 6 months and can’t say enough good things about it:
really lovely, short-ish guided meditations
different teacher of the month adds more to the growing catalog
they have real-time zooms once or more a week (i’ve never attended one) and the recordings are available later to listen or watch (i do that often).
there’s a bit of community aspect, which is warm & kind, but totally
optional if it isn’t your thing. it has been a great help to me in deepening my meditation practice.

### 5/5 — Self Improvement for Smart People

*2026-05-29, version 1.2.1*

Dan Harris’s ecosystem of teachers, writers, researchers, and friends offers something for every season of life, day or mood. The community that has formed around them is warm, insightful and helpful with the sticky questions that arise when you start paying closer attention.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bugs in this app

*2026-08-03, version 1.2.1*

I love this app. When it worked. For the past week or so I can not open it. I don’t know who to contact about this. I have deleted it and added it back. Turned my phone off, run cleaners. It just won’t open. Help?

### 1/5 — No responsive customer service

*2026-05-21, version 1.2.1*

I have emailed both email addresses that I can find 3 times trying to cancel the subscription that I thought was done through Apple Store but apparently was not. I haven’t received a single response to the emails and every month since January I’ve had to log a dispute with my credit card company to try and get them to stop charging by card, but every month they charge again. Can someone from support please help me to cancel my subscription?

### 1/5 — Beware free trial

*2026-04-24, version 1.2.1*

Impossible to find subscription management. Scammy behavior

### 1/5 — Sorry to be a downer

*2026-01-08*

Looks like I am the outlier. I’m not loving the new app, finding it strange to navigate. Core UX principles don’t seem to be applied. Seriously, a button called “menu”? I found it hard to search by topic and finally gave up and went over to the Center app instead. This app seems to be all about comments etc. which made me realize, I don’t need another app begging for my attention. Hope it’s good for everyone else; I enjoy the podcasts but don’t feel the need to pay for or use this app.

### 2/5 — Disappointed

*2026-08-06, version 1.3.0*

I loved the meditation tools, but the constant underlying political bias and assumptions about the listener's politics drove me away. Stick to meditation and leave the politics to cable news. The direction the app has taken to deconstruct the conservative movement is off-putting. Harris and his guests talk about Trump voters like a psychological phenomenon or a disease to be managed, rather than treating them as peers with a different worldview. For an app that preaches "compassion" and "interdependence," the platform seems to have a massive blind spot when it comes to extending that compassion to half of the American voting population.

### 2/5 — Had to delete because of size

*2026-05-02, version 1.2.1*

I love this app, but it took up a whopping 72 GB on my phone. I couldn’t find a way to contact support so here I am. Surely this isn’t working as intended.

### 2/5 — Clunky awkward app detracts from good content

*2026-02-19, version 1.0.1*

Watch out for that 14-day trial! The awkward length of the free trial period caught me and now I’ve got a year’s subscription to this clunky app.
I love the monthly teacher concept and have enjoyed the content thus far. I hate the in-app player - the start button is awkward, there’s no capacity to fast forward, etc. etc.

### 2/5 — Meditations not grouped together

*2026-01-29, version 1.0.1*

I was very excited to get this app as I had belonged to another one Dan Harris had started and it was excellent. Although I enjoy his podcasts on this app, I didn’t expect we would have to scroll down the screen by date to find the meditations and podcasts. It’s not easy to find a meditation, and there are no categories of meditations or varying times for a meditation. Consequently I’m meditating much less which is frustrating.

### 2/5 — Love the content, can’t stand the app

*2026-01-06, version 1.0.1*

The content is great, but the app’s interface and functionality needs serious work.

### 3/5 — Promising app but new with kinks

*2026-01-21, version 1.0.1*

New app so there’s grace to work out kinks. Great content!!! Podcast needs better controls so not starting over if unfinished and need ability to rewind and fast forward. Need to know which meditations or podcasts I’ve already listened to. Great team with Dan so they’ll figure this stuff out.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Walking the Walk

*2026-08-19, version 1.3.0*

Dan Harris is really walking the walk with his new app. He’s created a community for people to learn and experience meditation and Buddhism. And he’s brought in some of the best meditators and educators. I love this app and I’m a member of probably six or seven other Meditation apps. But when my subscription runs out, this will be the only one I keep

### 5/5 — Always learn and experience with Dan Harris

*2026-08-18, version 1.3.0*

I’m a longtime fan and subscriber - TPH and more recently 10% happier with Dan Harris. A wonderful example of how listening to our body and our “chattering mind” sabotages us from the moments that are so precious! Thanks Dan and team for high quality and honest reflection to support our daily lives

### 5/5 — Practical insight

*2026-08-13, version 1.3.0*

Truly value Dan Harris and the amazing teachers, researchers, and authors that guide this warm community of thinkers and feelers!

### 5/5 — Incredible App

*2026-08-05, version 1.2.1*

The layout is concise - providing new perspectives that enable us to get to the other side. Thank you - sometimes, I get annoyed because I should focus.

### 5/5 — So many great tools for our mental tool baskets!

*2026-07-22, version 1.2.1*

This app platform has been beneficial in so many ways for me. There is a wide range of discussions and topics that delve into daily life challenges, how to navigate them, rational thoughts, irrational thoughts and my favorite- the science behind much of it all, to name just a few. The discussions leave room for the listener to make their own conclusions, which I appreciate. The meditations and live online courses are truly priceless gifts!✨

### 5/5 — Love this podcast!

*2026-07-22, version 1.2.1*

This is, without question, my favorite podcast. I listen on my commute several times a week, and every episode leaves me with either a new insight or exactly the reminder I needed that day.

What I appreciate most is the Buddhist perspective woven throughout—it offers practical wisdom without ever feeling preachy or dogmatic. Dan is thoughtful, authentic, and refreshingly humble. He has a gift for sharing his own experiences in a way that makes the conversations more relatable without making them about him. (And yes, he expands my vocabulary occasionally sending me to the dictionary, which I genuinely appreciate!)

The guests are consistently outstanding, and the conversations are intelligent, engaging, and deeply human. I recommend this podcast to anyone looking to be a little wiser, calmer, and more self-aware.

### 5/5 — It is a beautiful place

*2026-07-17, version 1.2.1*

So supportive. Great place for mediations, but also offers a community

### 5/5 — Dan Harris is a national treasure!

*2026-07-15, version 1.2.1*

When I first started listening to Dan Harris several years ago, I realized I hit the jackpot. I don’t recall how he showed up on my YouTube feed, but I am forever grateful that he has because I have listened to him ever since. I bought and read his book, subscribe to his 10% and look forward to the offerings that he provides to all of us. Dan has taken Buddhist philosophy, meditation, the Wellness movement, and has seamlessly integrated all of the subjects into his 10% happier podcast. As a long time meditator. I am impressed with the teachings and individual individuals that are offered on this podcast. Dan brings on the leading luminaries of the meditation world. I’m always learning something new, and I love that about this program. No matter how many years we have on the cushion there’s still so much to learn. Deep bows and gratitude to Dan and his team. You are making a difference in so many people’s lives. Much Metta to all of you.

### 5/5 — Sangha

*2026-07-14, version 1.2.1*

Having a community of people sharing their practice of mindfulness is a gift.

### 5/5 — Favorite App

*2026-07-13, version 1.2.1*

Dan is a great interviewer who books the best guests who are guiding us to find our own inner peace. I love how Dan always checks in with the guests to make sure we understand their points. I have learned so much about myself from these interviews and the meditations.
