### 3/5 — Limited recipes

*2023-11-30*

I searched for a diabetic pork recipe and there was only one
I searched for chicken and it produced much more than pork did.
Overall I think there are better recipes available for diabetics

### 4/5 — A good start

*2023-03-26*

Would like more recipes but a good start for someone like me who is starting out and needed diabetic recipes.

### 4/5 — Diabetic recipes

*2022-07-07, version 1.2.5*

Print way too small

### 2/5 — I’m deleting app

*2022-06-08, version 1.2.5*

I signed on to get recipes and help to lose weight so I can manage my pre diabetes, but all I get from this supposedly free app is ads to join for $30+. Not what I was looking for. I can lookup recipes online then.

### 2/5 — To many ads

*2022-01-18*

Can not use as there is an add every 10 seconds

### 2/5 — Looks delicious, but….

*2021-12-18, version 1.2.3*

So I was excited to use these recipes having been newly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. They look amazing. However, so many of the recipes on there for diabetics have foods we are not supposed to eat. And I know I could easily substitute white rice for brown rice and just not eat white potatoes. But if you’re going to advertise this as diabetic recipes, then why include the things we aren’t supposed to have?

### 2/5 — You have to pay to get the good recipes.

*2021-07-10, version 1.2.3*

A few good recipes but you have to upgrade to get the better recipes.

### 2/5 — Way too many ads!!!

*2021-07-01, version 1.2.3*

This app would have been helpful if not
For the following:
There are “commercials” with every single click you make - it’s really, really, REALLY annoying.
There are maybe 10-15 recipes free and all the rest are LOCKED until you pay $. No thanks. Deleting this now.

### 3/5 — Stop asking me to review the app before I’ve had a chance to check it out

*2021-06-19, version 1.2.3*

I just downloaded this app and haven’t even gotten a chance to explore it and it’s already wanting me to review it, I tried dismissing it but it came right back! Frustrating!

### 1/5 — Deleting

*2021-06-07, version 1.2.3*

I would love to tell you my experience with the app. But I can’t. I just downloaded the free version and was immediately met with an ad. Then I clicked on the recipe button and was met with an ad. I scrolled down and was met with another ad. Once the fifth ad popped up I was done. Maybe it’s a great app but I can’t tell because of all the ads. This is the worst experience to even try out some thing. Please remove the wave of ads so that I can actually see the app to decide to even keep it. I see you have a pro version. But I can’t even get through the free version to see if I like it.

### 1/5 — Don’t Buy!

*2021-05-13, version 1.2.1*

paid for no adds and it still has pop ups every time I touch the screen. Rip-off!

### 1/5 — Don’t bother

*2021-05-03, version 1.2*

I paid for the upgrade to eliminate adds but I still can’t see recipes until viewing adds every single time. Some adds will not close without closing the app.

### 1/5 — Favorites?

*2021-05-02, version 1.2*

You can add to favorites but forget about seeing them. There’s no mechanism to do that. And I had to pay to see the 100. Rip-off.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2023-05-12*

Stupid app and a waste of .99. I hit no thanks to review an app I literally just downloaded, every time I go back to the app it ask the same question. I haven’t even had a chance to take a look at it. However, the recipes are not great! Save your money.

### 1/5 — Diabetic Deletion

*2023-04-13*

Let me preface this review by stating that I don’t like to write reviews but this review is a RARE exception because I am a diabetic.

Some of the free recipes were intriguing HOWEVER the incessant wave of ads upon clicking on a recipe was INFURIATING and the nerve of the developer to hide “Pro” recipes behind a pay wall is enough for me to say that this app is irredeemable affront and a scam to bilk me out of my money when I could easily look up these recipes from a website that would have less advertising shoved into my face.

### 1/5 — Spam pop up ads and terrible CX

*2022-04-06, version 1.2.5*

I wish I could like this but it took me all of a half day of trying to use it when I had to delete it completely. Every time you open the app, it asks you to rate it. Every time. If I say no thanks, not remind me later. It asks me every time. Painful.

Then it has non-stop pop up ads whenever you get to the recipes page. Super annoying! Finally the recipes page is a disaster trying to find recipes and know what they are. The design and overall CX of this app is awful. It’s too bad bc this is a big and important market.

### 1/5 — Adds

*2022-03-25, version 1.2.5*

To many adds and you have to pay for most of the recipes. There’s an add whenever you click on a recipe.

### 1/5 — Less than 1 star

*2022-01-11, version 1.2.3*

The ads are absolutely terrible. I press the screen it’s ad after ad. Also a lot of these recipes are SUPPOSED to be diabetic meals but it’s including ingredients we should have. And every serving size is 8-10. This app is dumb. Deleting and do your self a favor and don’t bother downloading

### 1/5 — Ads, Ads, Ads

*2021-11-30*

Could hardly make it though a single recipe or list of ingredients without an advert popping up, had at least 8 within a minute or so, just really annoying, don’t bother with it.

### 1/5 — 100 Diabetic

*2021-08-18, version 1.2.3*

While I know it’s free but an ad for ever selection I make is not worth it. Some ads I can handle but not every time I touch the screen. I am deleting this app

### 1/5 — This app is a joke.

*2021-08-15, version 1.2.3*

They act like they care so much but there are only 30 meals a diabetic can make from this app without having to pay!

### 1/5 — Deleted right after downloading

*2021-07-26, version 1.2.3*

This app has an add every time you click on something. In my opinion it is not worth it.

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2021-06-21, version 1.2.3*

I purchased the pro version to get rid of the ads. Don’t waste your money. I still get ads, I just get the ability to close them after 5 seconds. You know they’re going to be closed if someone pays to upgrade, so why bother to launch one.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2023-05-01*

I just started with the app, and recipes look good, but I have not try making them. I like the app. It shows ingredients that easy for me to find at home and tasty. Thanks 💕

### 5/5 — Lifesaver!

*2023-04-09*

SUPER thankful for this app! It’s simple, yet thorough- just enough. It’s even a bit motivating because it breaks everything down for you, you can track exactly what you’re eating and you can keep up with the carbs/calories, etc.. the curiosity made want to give it a try because I have Type 2 Diabetes, and that requires healthier eating. It makes it easier to sync my food journal with my Freestyle Libre 3, and it encouraged me to start eating cleaner and wiser.
THAT IS A BIG DEAL!! (Just a little stubborn)
Fantastic app! It has literally become a true lifesaver for me. I
