### 4/5 — Word games

*2022-03-29, version 1.2.0*

Downfall fall of game is you cannot see all pages of word lists. If there is more than one page you can only see the first page. You cannot advance to the next game unless you light up the arrow to the right to continue.

### 4/5 — A couple of tweaks to get to 5 stars

*2021-12-01, version 1.2.0*

Pros: Lots of words to solve, challenging, a minimum of crazy words that u haven’t heard of, doesn’t make u drag your finger around to choose words, lots of time to solve the puzzles, not in a scrabble format.

Cons: Doesn’t show u the unsolved words after u move on to next puzzle, doesn’t show your current game score as u work the puzzle, can’t tell how many more words u need to move to next puzzle while playing.

### 4/5 — Really enjoyable word game

*2021-04-22, version 1.2.0*

I've loved playing this game, but it would be 100% better if it included an in-built dictionary for definitions of all the obscure words, like some other word games I've played. It makes learning the new words easier when you know their meaning.

### 4/5 — 100 words

*2021-01-03, version 1.2.0*

Where has this game gone. Can’t get it anymore. Funny ones 70

### 4/5 — Good

*2020-03-06, version 1.2.0*

This is a good game. Simple to grasp and clear graphics. My only slight niggles are I don’t recognise some of the 3-letter combinations as words? It would be nice to see which words we didn’t get; and finally to be able to see definitions. Having said that, I’ve happily played it every day since downloading it!

### 4/5 — Good game

*2017-10-18, version 1.2.0*

Keeps the ol grey matter ticking over !

### 5/5 — Love the game

*2017-09-24, version 1.0.9*

I really love the game. It's very challenging with some of the words they use. My BIG problem is that it too easy to tap the Hint button and the Advance to Next Level button before I am ready. They don't seem to be placed properly. I have lost both "hint" helps as well as advanced too soon which in the long run lowers my possible score.

### 4/5 — Good but....

*2017-07-12, version 1.0.9*

Good game, but same words are coming back. Also, I started with 6 letters, but want to move to 7 and I don't see anyway to do that. That's the only thing I don't like.

### 5/5 — Cool game

*2017-06-12, version 1.0.9*

This game is good, give it a go.

### 5/5 — Great Game!

*2017-06-05, version 1.0.9*

I love this game!!! It is addicting but makes you think which is a good thing!

### 5/5 — A brain wakes upper

*2017-05-05, version 1.0.9*

My favorite word game for waking up my brain. Fun. Absorbing. Challenging.

### 4/5 — Does the trick

*2017-04-09, version 1.0.9*

Helps me fall asleep. It's a little monotonous but not boring, and I'm glad it's free.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Tracey

*2024-03-16, version 1.2.0*

I sure do hope this new version “#2” does NOT have any PROFANITY

### 1/5 — Too many extremely obscure words

*2020-10-29, version 1.2.0*

I play Scrabble and several other word games every day, and in a single round this game had six words I had never heard before, which were not in Merriam-Webster. This does not test your knowledge of words, just your ability to string together letters until you find a combination the games accepts. No, thanks. When I play a word game I want it to be a game of skill, not meaningless make-work.

### 1/5 — Hints don’t work

*2020-06-21, version 1.2.0*

Can’t see the hints, I’m assuming they are at the top of the screen behind the adverts that wont go away.

### 2/5 — Questionable Words

*2021-04-06, version 1.2.0*

I’m starting to wonder the type of person that designed this game...I’ve ran across 3 words that I thought was highly inappropriate ...& last straw, the word Swastika makes me really wonder what kind of person Steve Boschi is...I decided to delete the game!

### 3/5 — Disappointing

*2019-06-04, version 1.2.0*

Not terrible, but really should provide missed words when level/game ends. One wants to know what they’ve missed. This is a major flaw

### 3/5 — U don’t want a revu

*2019-05-03, version 1.2.0*

I don’t like the fact that you can’t pause the game! It logs you all the way out if the phone rings or an alarm goes off. Another thing is if you have multiple words that you haven’t found, you can’t designate which one to get the hint for, if you need a hint! Finally, I’ve gotten to level 83 or so, answered a phone call and it won’t allow me to resume the game. It takes you all the way back to Level 1!

### 3/5 — Ok

*2018-01-17, version 1.2.0*

I enjoy this game, but there are a few things missing, unless I just haven’t figured out the features. I would like to be able to view the words that I miss before moving onto the next round. I also would like a way to keep the last word and add an “s” for plurals without typing it again.

### 3/5 — Could be better

*2017-12-18, version 1.2.0*

Timer doesn't indicate seconds remaining and there's no list of words not found at the end of each round.

### 3/5 — No Reveal?

*2016-06-19, version 1.0.8*

I love this game but even though my time runs out, the words I've missed are never revealed.

### 3/5 — Bonzo Cat

*2015-07-14*

Not bad game ,some of the words are a little out there but a challenge all the same.
Considering buying the full app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — 100 words

*2023-04-17, version 1.2.0*

I’m a senior citizen who has been playing this game for several years. It helps keep me sharp and engaged, and I really enjoy the challenge it represents. I play it pretty much every day.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2020-04-16, version 1.2.0*

Brian teaser would definitely recommend
Good brain testing game
Ideal with cv19 winds away hours in self isolation

### 5/5 — Great Fun!

*2019-06-15, version 1.2.0*

Love playing games that challenge the mind! This one really fits me to well! I have a hard time trying to stop sometimes it’s so fun!

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2019-03-24, version 1.2.0*

It's an anagram game that doesn't try to be anything else! No time limits, no puzzles, no PvP junk... just relaxing anagram solving.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2019-02-01, version 1.2.0*

Very enjoyable! Could use a few tweaks such as letting you know if you’ve completed all possible words in a game. Also, should move the hint and next game buttons so they aren’t so easy to tap accidentally.

### 5/5 — Love this game!

*2019-01-07, version 1.2.0*

I used to play Chictionary. This isn’t as cute visually, but it is very challenging. There aren’t a lot of good word games out there, so I appreciate this free game.

### 5/5 — Addictive

*2018-10-21, version 1.2.0*

Enjoying this game, very addictive.

### 5/5 — Very addictive

*2018-09-29, version 1.2.0*

### 5/5 — Addictive

*2018-03-02, version 1.2.0*

This is a wonderful game. Have to limit myself.

### 5/5 — Very addictive
