This game demonstrates asymmetrical warfare on a medieval scale, with the English dominating at ranged battle while the French have significantly more powerful infantry at their disposal. My only gripe would be that there’s not very many missions compared to some of Hex’s larger projects. I’d like to see maybe the Carolinian phase of the war as well, as well as maybe some naval battles too. Overall though, quite a decent game in spite of its flaws. ### 5/5 — Soyboys can’t handle AI competition *2019-08-04* This ain’t checkers where everyone gets to start off with the same pieces. The scenarios are based on historical situations where many times one side had a preponderance of forces. Whiney millenials and generation z’rs should go back to fortnite. Even though there is a script that says the next battle is attacking. This behavior is repeated in War of the Roses etc. There is a fundamental degradation in the playability of these games. English side is impossible to win even on casual setting.
