## What is 1001 Books?

1001 Books is an app for reading fans. It's not a list in your notes — it's a bookshelf where your library lives.

Included for free: add books by ISBN, see covers and spines as if they were at home. Paper, ebooks, and audiobooks in one shelf. While you read, you always see the page: timer, progress, and how much is left. Save quotes within the free limit. Follow friends: who is reading now, who just finished, what they are discussing. Lend paper books — the shelf remembers who has them. You control your profile and visibility.

An honest path to 1,001 books: the counter moves only when you finish. No deadline.

IN-APP PURCHASE REQUIRED FOR SOME FEATURES. Optional 1001 Plus (monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, sold separately through the App Store; renews until you cancel in Apple ID settings) raises limits on shelves, quotes, shelf-photo scans, art, emotional rating scales (Spice, Glass, Humor, Plot), goals, and stats. The core app works without a subscription.
