Freezes constantly and resets all your data. I bought £5 of coins and they disappeared alongside the history of what book I was reading. Don’t trust this app with your money. ### 2/5 — Missing chapters *2024-02-13* Stories offered on this app is great, but are expensive. And even after paying a hefty price to these great stories. Trying to claim daily rewards or reading rewards there is always an error that says something is wrong please try again later but you can try all day it will still say the same thing. So if you earn the rewards you don’t actually get them. Then if you buy coins and try to read the app freezes constantly so that you have to completely shut it and reopen it. Tried to read the first few chapter when it froze and couldn’t proceed to the points section. So when I opened the book back up, the part that was free was skipped and went straight to the points section. And I couldn’t scroll back to finish reading the free section. Good book so far, won’t go any further because of what happened. Dreame spoiled me. But Amazon books subscription has spoiled me more. ### 1/5 — No option to earn free chapters *2024-01-13* I downloaded this app for The Luna is Gone and was give 15 check in coins but no option to earn more coins or option to watch ads for free chapters. So unless you want to fork out a lot of money, it’s not worth it. I signed in and bought coins. When I looked again it said I needed to sign in again as a new user. The coins I purchased were gone and the chapters I already unlocked were locked again. The chapters don’t complete and cut off. You need to go back to the master chapter list and click again and again for the full chapter to load. Also, when you click said chapter, it goes to the middle of the next chapter. I wish I would have received a refund for the coins I didn’t intend to buy but they did make it right by providing them to my account which I can now login to. Once I received their customer service email and was able to contact them they responded quickly. I’m going to give it another try however I won’t make the same mistake as last time. If I pay for coins and they disappear again I won’t try again. I was very excited to read some of these books and so I paid $4.99 for 500 coins. Then the coins disappeared before I could unlock a chapter and would not come back so I thought it didn’t go through and paid again. This happened multiple times before I could actually start to read a book. I read 23 chapters and went to sleep. When I woke up all the chapters were locked again and the remaining coins (a little over 300) I had were missing. So I paid for more which again would show and then disappeared. I was charged for $40 worth of coins and only was able to use $10 with a little over 300 coins still missing. I requested a refund from apple for the $30 worth because I never received them. Also the app asks you to sign up for an account and every way you try it shows a error and doesn’t sign you up. I will be really upset if I don’t get my money back and I think this app should take a deep look at their coding because at this point they are just stealing from their customers. **Developer response:** We are sorry for the inconveniences. When I received notice chapter 278 was out I went read but book had returned to 1st chapter and all of them was locked as if I was just beginning. So I clicked on the new chapter and said I had to buy chapters in order. This isn’t fair after all the money I already spent on this book and now I have no ending after waiting a hold month between ch 276-277. Purchase history is even gone. I will never buy another book on this site. I will wait b4 I delete to see if management will make it right but will never recommend if it’s not.
