AWFUL GAME
Soooo frustrating and annoying

This game really reminds me of the simplistic yet unique gameplay and charm of the game "Crossy Road." Only because of the mechanics of swiping up, left, right, and down as well as the graphics being blocky and the sounds in gameplay along with that. I'd give this 4 stars if it were original and a time-waster, but honestly this game doesn't want me to make me waste my time. The gameplay gets pretty dull really fast, good thing this is only free, but it's okay for a free app.

Let's just call it Crossy Raider
So, the most obvious thing first: This game in most respects resembles Crossy Road with an Indiana Jones skin, from the gameplay to the character vending machine. That being said, the actual gameplay is considerably more dynamic, with a much wider array of obstacles to traverse. The controls are a little finicky/unresponsive at times, but overall, if you like this style of gameplay, it's quite a lot of fun. Also, as far as I can tell it keeps the Crossy Road F2P model (buy/earn characters, play itself is free and unlimited), which is definitely a good thing, and makes it one of the few F2P games I would recommend.

Fun twist in a Crossy Road
Ok, so it's not a very original concept (right down to the gift machine), but the game is very enjoyable and the styling is great. It's a little laggy sometimes, and the sideways swipes aren't as accurate as they could be. The game misses an in-app purchase option to pay a one-off fee (e.g. £1.49) to double coins forever, or something like that, as that's the only way I would consider paying the devs any money (buying individual characters just ain't worth it at 79p a pop).
