  • Permission problems

Used to be a useful app, a subset of the web console functionality. Then a month or so ago, it began throwing a number of errors about permissions. Tried deleting app and reinstalling, logging out and back in, no change. Essentially useless now. Judging by other reviews, problem is cropping up for many users.

Update: Permissions problem resolved. App once again quite useful for Google Cloud users.

  • Can’t switch between projects?

Seems like the app is broken — can switch between projects in my acct

Update: by some miracle the app is now fixed, justifying the half mil salaries of those googlers :)

  • Was good

Now Google wants to be petty and make the website unusable when you have an ad blocker. This really makes no sense because for one you pay for the service and two there are no ads on the website anyway. You would think Google would have better things to worry about instead of going after the few people that use ad blockers. By the way Google a lot of you ads are scams maybe you should do a better vetting process.

Update - a Google developer responded saying “there are no ads on the website I think you wrote this review by mistake” clearly Google developers can’t read because I said the website was unusable when I use an ad blocker. I have an ad blocker that blocks ads on every website I use and I have to turn it off to use the Google cloud website. You are petty Google!

  • Hot Garbage

I would had a better opinion of GCP if you just diddnt bother with making the app and forced people to use the broken console only.
  • Buggy - Incidents tab broken

The app misses a lot of functionality vs the web
The best and core feature was the ability to register for incidents … this is now broken

    Developer Response

Thank you for your feedback. We're working hard to make the app better. Please update the app as notifications are fixed now.
  • App doesn’t work for me

It the app says I don’t have permission to do or see anything in my project, even though I’m signed in as the same account I used to create the project and have full access on my computer. I can’t find a useful help page to debug and the only way I can get support is by paying $30? Terrible experience.

  • App is broken

Trying to use the app and running into “You don’t have permission to use this project” screens eveywhere. Not very helpful.
  • Incident notifications are not working

What I believe it’s the most important feature of this app is broken since days ago.

Also the device registering process is poorly implemented, failing for days
  • Pls kindly update the app fixing some bugs

I used this app on my phone last 4weeks, it working well and perfect but until now I noticed whenever I minimize while coding using the cloud shell, in the next 30sec i check back the app it will have be disconnected
I tried severally uninstalling and installing the app but still the same pls hep
  • Good but too many bugs

This app gives a well designed overview of gcp resources and enables engineers to check errors out of hours. BUT there are still a lot of bugs / missing features. Like you can’t scroll on some logs so you can only see the first page of a trace and no support for cloud run. Someone wasn’t thinking… I hope google improve this app and don’t leave it to decay.
