You just go through and keep the ones you like. And for people who obviously don't know how to install the ringtones, just press the little i on the screen--that stands for information. You can use these sounds as ringtones too, they send them to you by mail ( at your request ) and teach you how to install them too, and if you are missing a special sound that you always longed for, just ask them to add it to their huge list of sounds. Todd Bernhard, is an unbelievable guy, he seems to be fond of his job, he offers you ( really) an extraordinary customer support, do not hesitate to buy his wonderful app and get some fun. Some sounds are loud, some barely audible. Police siren sounds like it's taken from a European movie. American police car sirens don't sound like this. No ability to move sounds you want to the top, unless you delete everything else. Bought it because it promised realistic "excuse sounds". Those simply don't exist there. Could use many more real highway/freeway sounds, like AMERICAN police car siren, paramedics' siren, firefighters, etc. Also, please add a realistic sound for a train crossing (like a freight train). The Train sound in the app sounds like Anna Karenina in the fog. Make the sound much louder. Until then, I wasted a buck. Another buck was equally as wasted on Fake-Excuse. It really would be nice if these 2 apps delivered anything even remotely close to what they promised... ### 1/5 — Finally worth one star. *2009-01-27, version 0* With new update I can now give this app one star. Added sounds do seem to be better quality than originals and a handful of originals were enhanced. Although some sounds make you look up at the ceiling in wonderment, you can tell that the boys at the office are really working on improving this app. It still needs improvement but I'm no longer upset about spending the dollar. Keep working on it guys. The program works well and it's a good collection of what seem to be high quality sounds. However, since you can't use the sounds for anything, what's the point of the application? It doesn't take long before it gets boring listening to the sounds over and over again. The fact that you can select what sounds to show in the list and what order to show them in is nice, though the ablity to rearrange the order could be a little more friendly. Moving something from the bottom to the top of the list can be cumbersome. Also, the ability to request ringtones for free is great if you have an iPhone, but serves no additional benefit for us iPod Touch users. Overall I'd say it's a well constructed application, it just doesn't seem to serve any practical purpose. ### 3/5 — great app! lots of fun sounds *2009-07-06, version 0* I bought this app a bit ago and LOVE IT, and then an email came out saying how nice guys they are and how you can get these sounds as ring tones. I emailed them and HONESTLY within minutes I had an answer. When I went to website and requested ringtone, in SECONDS I had my new sound/ringtones...GREAT COMMUNICATION, great customer service!!! A wk ago I selected icon on phone and it came up blank. Went to tunes today and downloaded and synched the new release. Still not working. Restarted Iphone problem not fixed. Dumped app off Iphone and Itunes. You also have the ability to get multiple ringtones downloaded in one zip file - saves time and effort. And my 4 year old loves to play with the "sound board" app that is installed on your iPhone. Shake the phone for a random sound. Within about 5 minutes he had replied and shortly after that, he sent me 3 additional sample ringtones he developed that he thought might work even better for my purposes. Within 12 hours, the first was formatted for installation and has worked perfectly. The other 2 are on the way. I never would have expected such an excellent product and unbelievable service for a buck. With this app available, anyone would be crazy to consider a subscription service or any competitor. This guy just can't be beat!!! Just put in another request today, 6-27. Once again, got immediate service with 3 prior ringtones modified to my request plus an additional ringtone I didn't even expect. I wouldn't expect this type of service if I paid 10x more than the cost of this app. Todd is terrific to work with. Anybody posting a negative review, in my opinion, is likely to be a competitor with an unfair agenda and business practices.
