The only really frustrating thing with this app is when you search it comes with everybody’s names that also uses it, No one wants to contact somebody through the app, but when I want to search for something like “fish”, I have to scroll through everyone with the last name Fisher. Also I don’t want random people to contact me from my blw app. I don’t see anyway to turn that off. I wish there was a way for me to print out recipes that are only on the app because it’s cumbersome to find them when I’m trying to cook and have a six month old I have to entertain. It truly changed our solids journey for the better. As a first time mom with a baby about to start solids, it was terrifying and I had no clue where to begin. This app has endless baby safe recipes and tells you how to safely serve for each age. And they give you balanced family dinner ideas so you’re not cooking separately for baby and family. I don’t think she would have tried nearly as many foods are be as good of an eater as she is now at 10 months without this app! I was excited to use but can’t justify $100 for book/checklist and then ANOTHER $100 for the app. That’s absurd! ### 5/5 — Reassuring for 1st time parents *2024-09-17, version 8.179.22* I was not feeling confident about how to transition my baby to purées / solids or when he would be ready to move on to bigger bites or textures. I did a lot of research and luckily I came across 101 before one! Honestly so helpful to understand what I should be introducing to my baby, how to introduce a food, and then how to adjust how the food is served as my baby grows. It was amazing to have this tool. We were just shy of trying 100 different foods before 1 but now I love looking at the recipes for snack and dinner ideas. It’s amazing to only need to make one meal for my husband, son, and I. Couldn’t recommend this app enough for parents who need confidence when transitioning to solids or parents who need ideas/help with nutritious recipes ### 5/5 — Great App *2024-09-14, version 8.179.22* A plethora of resources led by a knowledgeable group of professionals.
