This literally stops play until the video decides to play…and sometimes it’s a long wait. If this could be remedied I would give a 5-star rating. I do appreciate that you can play quite a while between ads. Games with too many ads get immediately deleted. ### 4/5 — Undo last move *2021-12-18, version 2.3.0* I like the game but as soon as you get close to passing your highest score you lose. After playing for hours or while doing something else you make that one mistake that moves you back to zero. There should be at least one undo last move per game. I wish there was an undo function for the most recently placed shape. The reason i didn’t mark this with 5 stars is that recently I have been unable to close the Macy ad. There is no X on the ad and I have to shut my phone off to get it to close. ### 3/5 — 1010! Color *2019-11-08, version 1.4.2* Can’t find an app support so I’m writing the problem here. I really like this game and up until the Los Angeles ad came up It was a favorite. Now I can no longer play it. When the game ends it goes to an ad for Los Angeles and there is no way to get back to the game. I finally deleted the app and reloaded it but right from the first game it did the same thing so I have deleted it. This problem belongs with this game. I mistakenly wrote it on one of the other 1010! Games. Hope you can fix it—I really like this game, if I could play it. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Ads! *2019-11-12, version 1.4.2* The game is fun and addicting but I’m deleting it because even with the sound OFF the ads still play. Super annoying! Can’t you fix that!? When an phone is muted the ads should be too. The other issue is there is no way to close the cold water creek ad but to exit out completely. Super frustrating to have these ads thrust upon you and not be able to close them. ### 1/5 — Just deleted this game *2019-10-25, version 1.4.2* I really enjoyed this game until the ads became annoying beyond belief. Ads that stayed up until I rebooted my phone. Three ads instead of one to delete colors. Constant crashing. The worst were Car Guru and Denooyer ads, maybe because I have a car and hope I won’t need another for many years. Macy’s, Dicks.... un-x-able ads just make me angry. It’s my freaking phone. Now this game is not on it. ### 1/5 — Ad That is Stuck in Loop & Won’t Let You Out *2019-06-30, version 1.3.0* There is an ad for the war games that just keeps loading over & over & even after you watch it, it won’t let you close the ad, it just keeps going to the install screen for the game. Back & forth - you lost - install now - you lost - install now. You have to shut down the game. Try for a different ad. Same ad. Arghhh!! Please fix this!!! World War Rising is the name of the app. ### 1/5 — Fun challenging game but *2019-06-26, version 1.3.0* I am so tired of the long lasting commercials. It is ok when commercials run, boom they are over and game is restored. However, numerous time I have experienced commercials last and then timer comes on and then counts down 20 seconds that takes 3-4 minutes. Now Saks commercial is stuck for going on 30 minutes. How does one escape this frozen commercial? Ready to exit this game permanently. So frustrating ### 2/5 — Used to be good *2024-02-22* I’ve had this app for years and loved the game but lately it has changed so that the playing time is very short. This would normally be caused by simply not getting rid of enough tiles on the game board so the room to place new ones eventually disappears. With skill you can keep the game going for enough time to get in a good round. Not so anymore. After 2 or 3 minutes the tiles that you have to place become larger than there is reasonable space for. If you can place a few, the large sets of blocks keep coming in the droves that end any possibility of being able to place them. The game is then over very quickly now and your previous record is now far from being attainable as well as not even being close to being able to break. No more record challenge. No longer fun for us. ### 2/5 — Fix the issues *2019-11-12, version 1.4.2* I really enjoy this game; I’ve played it for hours. However, there are too many adds, and some get stuck and don’t give an option to return to the game. Once, I deleted the app, not realizing I’d loss my high score. Another ignorance is your music or audio book cuts off with some of the ads. Better rating if issues are fixed. Please remove the Los Angeles ad: it’s stuck without a way back to the game! ### 2/5 — Don’t Pay For No Ads *2019-10-02, version 1.3.0* Such a fun game I decided to pay for the ad-free version which I rarely do for any game app. I paid $4.99 but it’s not ad free. When you’re stuck and use the option to remove certain color blocks you must watch an ad first. These are the most annoying and time-consuming ads. False advertising and definitely not worth $4.99. ### 2/5 — Ads are intrusive *2019-06-30, version 1.3.0* I’m fine with ads, I understand why they’re a part of mobile gaming, but what I don’t like is that they’re constantly playing while I’m playing the game. It keeps pausing my music as the audio plays from the ad. I suggest either taking out the audio or just making it a normal pop up ad. Otherwise I enjoy the game, I just prefer to play with music. ### 3/5 — FIX THE AD FLASH! *2023-02-11, version 2.6.0* I love this game but the ads flashing at the bottom of the page will often prevent me from placing blocks where I want them to go. Instead the flashing disrupts the game to such a degree that the blocks literally jump to a random spaces. This is obnoxious. I have paid to remove them but they have yet to disappear. This was at one time a 5 ⭐️ game in my lineup. ### 3/5 — Good but could be better *2021-12-09, version 2.3.0* Agree with other reviewers that the game would be more engaging if they didn’t start slamming you with hard pieces. They should introduce them slowly, keep you feeling successful for longer. It’s just not fun how fast the game ends. Also I don’t like that you can watch an ad to clear the board—that makes it feel like a cheat. Like something I’m paying to do. You should have to earn that through good play somehow. Unfortunately… I just got a new iPhone 12 and while I never had any problems launching this game… when I’ve come to the ‘no space left’ end, the screen goes black and it doesn’t come back!! I thought first it was the new phone IOS?? But, I was on the save version on my old phone. I have deleted the game and reinstalled to no avail… HELP!! What is becoming an UNACCEPTABLE problem is the ads that run across the bottom of the screen. Some of them (like Gardenscapes) jump all over the place, IN YOUR FACE. HEY, guys, we are all trying to CONCENTRATE on this puzzle. Please tell your advertising bureau to eliminate these flashing ads. Nothing interrupts your thinking and planning on the game in front of you as much as these ads do. IF it should continue like this, I will VERY reluctantly remove 1010! Color from my computer. As one of the reviewers mentions, I agree that it would be great if the “end” of the play has an diagram or such, explaining where we went “wrong” on our last play.
