I've been playing this game for few days and have had a blast. So far I haven't had to pay for anything and that is nice, as the pricing for the store seems a bit absurd. The gameplay is easy and entertaining. I can see that there will be a point in time where strategy and team composition will be important and I am looking forward to that.

Great fun little game.
I've been playing daily for about 6 months. Basically it's FFT with a Pokémon recruitment style. I do the $9 monthly sub and login each day and have a pretty well outfitted team, just beat Tower of Dawn on Hard difficulty yesterday. Yes, there's always a better character you just HAVE to recruit, always more exp to get, better armor, better weapons, better stats and traits to get.... but that's part of the fun! Tactics definitely enter into the equation late game, you can't just trample everything with no strategy. But you get a ramp up and learn as you go, you shouldn't hit a wall where you just can't progress. Try it out!

This game is a trap!
I originally gave 5 stars because on the surface it's a good game. BUT after months of playing I found that the game is somewhat easy to get into and it hooks you with great storyline and graphics but the difficulty ramps up dramatically after a month or two. The game is designed to hook you then make you play and grind insanely for long enough to hopefully make you pay. But we're not talking a few dollars... you can literally spend $100s to $1000's and it will only make things only marginally easier. I've ended up just putting the game on auto play most of the time. It take a lot of time and work to see any progress in the story. I'm almost at the end, and I want to see the ending so bad but the game makes you have to grind for months. Also you can't just grind continuously, it rations energy points for you to play which forces you to play the game throughout the day over a long periods of time. I'd rather just pay $100 for Final Fantasy and grind for a foreseeable finite number of hours (40-80hrs) which you can do for a week if you play it nonstop. But you can't with FWT. I've already spend months and it feels like shame to quit now but it's just not fun and not worth it. There's better out there. I'm cutting my losses. I quit playing... and will only resume if I become mega-rich.

This game is simply fantastic. I don't have any other words to put it... They don't force you to buy anything, the story is captivating, you can grow with your own efforts, the characters have a lot of personality, they don't drop the whole story in your face in the first 2 seconds of the game. I've been playing the game every single day since I downloaded it, and today I just hit 150 days of login, love this game! You guys should make a bigger version for a 3DS and I would be the happiest gamer alive =P... Thank you for the game!
