Needs enhancement for notifications and to do list
I find Class charts is useful but the user experience is lacking in some areas and could do with some updating. For example:
1) Notifications by email that don’t tell you anything and can’t be turned off. I’d rather the app have a notification dot and the option not to receive emails
2) To do list causing stress to child. The current app just stacks up the work, even though it might be over several weeks. My child sees they have 10 things to do and panics. It would be better if a calendar approach was introduced so you could see what was due by day and week.

It is just a poor app.
I don’t really have a good word to say about this App. Often just get a blank screen. Lay out is poor and not user friendly etc. Too much irrelevant information that don’t concern my child. I hate the fact I’m forced to use it by the School. There are much better Apps available which my other child’s school uses. If you have a choice don’t use this App.

Constant Reboots needed- Waste of time
Every day all devices (we have 3, 2 parents and 1 child) need rebooting to allow it to log in. On opening you are presented with a blank white screen when the app attempts to load and the only way to get it work is to reboot the devices.

I use this App daily to see my child’s progress and homework usually it’s brilliant, but lately it’s absolutely rubbish. I keep having to delete app then reinstall due to blank white screen. I am unsure why this keep happening its frustrating and annoying. I thought it was my phone until I read other comments. Please sort this teething problem out!

Joke of an app clearly designed by people who have no understanding of digital product design
The UX/UI is cumbersome. There is no biometric login. There are no push notifications, seems they’ve just taken a dated web/online approach and thought it could pass as an EdTech app. No real knowledge application of product design principles, UX/UI best practices and content authoring. TES should just use Google Classroom and do themselves a favour as they clearly don’t understand digital products and consumers. Utter rubbish 👎🏼

Worst communication app
Why the school decided to stop using a perfectly good app and move to class charts is beyond me. There are zero notifications for homework or behaviour. When you get notifications for announcements there isn’t one to view. And when they do eventually appear the notification will not disappear. Everytime you open the app it is a blank white page until you close it down and even then it continually spins.

I have a love hate relationship with it
I love this app, two children added quite easily. I can see homework, know if they are behaving well, enjoy talking to my lads about what they did well that day. When teachers use it effectively, the points rack up nicely and I can encourage them to answer questions regularly, hand in homework promptly and ensure they are well equipped.
However, I hate that it freezes daily, sometimes several times a day. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling (a few times) but the only sure fire way is to switch off my phone or delete and reinstall the app. I only really noticed this being an issue this year as the second child started school was added to my account. This coincides with school being more efficient at issuing points. Would love this ‘crashing issue’ to be improved.

Needs fixing
Every time I try to get into this app I get the white screen of death and have to delete the app and reinstall. I have tried logging out after each use to see if this helps but it didn’t. It’s quite a useful, informative app otherwise so please do something about the logging in issues.
Hit & miss
Pretty good app when it opens - unfortunately this is the main issue as others have written - very often it opens up to a blank/white screen and you are unable to access unless you turn the phone off and on again. It has been doing this intermittently all year and now I have to delete and re-install to use it.

White screen
90% of the time when I try to access the app I am faced with a blank white screen. I have to turn my phone off to clear the cache and then it usually works again.
This is ridiculous and has been an issue for over a year now. I wish the schools would cease the contract with this developer, it’s not fit for purpose.
