Frustratingly unreactive …
If a teacher ‘awards’ a negative mark or detention in error and then cancels these, the app still displays them. Terrible. Horribly demotivating for students. Worrying for teachers and parents. This app is so widely used but it is simply not fit for purpose. Needs to do much better.
CONSTANT notifications about a “New Academic Report”
It’s been going on for weeks now, every 10 minutes a notification pops up saying ‘New Academic Report Received - Open ClassCharts to view it’ but of course nothing is there. All of the parents in our school are experiencing this problem- that’s 1000’s of parents! Now everyone has had to turn off notifications, which in turn has meant that we are now missing out on key information! I honestly don’t understand why they can’t just revert to a previous version of the app? There’s zero communication from the developers and at this point I think it’s destroyed all trust! It’s a shame, the app wasn't perfect, but it was useful. Will this bug ever get fixed?!?!

Absolutely rubbish app ever !!!!!!!!
This app is rubbish most of the time it will not open and I have to delete it off my phone and upload it to make it work. I’ve told the school but they doesn’t care. Can’t wait until we don’t have to use it anymore when my child leaves school. !!!!!!!!

It makes situations worser then they are and can be used to destroy relationships between children and parents
I do not recommend getting this app even if you want to monitor your child's behaviour.
Even if they mess around and do stuff kids in high school do if it’s really bad the school will contact you so there is no point to this app

ClassCharts parents need this update
So my friend doesn’t know how to use this app so I did it for her on my phone and now I can’t delete her kids account from my phone I would give it a good rating but we need a opinion to delete the kids account
Better than no communication - but only just.
Truly awful. I don’t know why the schools cannot simply use email and manage distribution lists, or use a tool such as Yammer/Viva Engage for general communications I do not know. Using this system to share the messages but sending an email to notify that there is something new in Class Charts that you may or may not be interested in and making us click on links to sign into an app that then has a similar high level message with an attachment embedded that has the actual content is the level of frustration that gives this app a 1 star rating.
The rest of the app experience from that point forwards wants me to take the remaining star away as it is simply lacking any sense of user interface concepts. No way to easily navigate to top menu, long scrolling list of previous messages (you can close them once read but then no obvious way to retrieve them again when needed), no search function, no ability to pin key messages such as annual term dates, school reports etc. versus the weekly blah blah messages.

No change even though updates come in.
On a regular basis I have to restart my phone to be able to log into the app. This has been the same from the day it was installed. It’s been extremely frustrating from day one and I have another 3 years yet.

Same experience as many others. Have to delete and reload app almost everytime I use it. Does not remember password which is a pain so constantly having to reset that also. Very frustrating.

If I could give zero stars I would.
Nothing has improved in all the time I have been forced to use it since my kids school saw fit to use it. I have to delete and reload on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day!! I have fed this back to school who have reported it to the provider and nothing has changed. Would not recommend this to any school.

Blank screen
Poor at best….More often than not this app opens with a blank screen and only springs into life when my phone is switched off then back on!! Highly frustrating considering I have many apps and none which require so many resets!!!
