Deb from GA. ### 3/5 — Alarm issues and program strays *2016-05-29* Every weekend we tune in for chillville. The alarm is set for it and it never goes off, the app doesn't pull up. No tunes. No alarm. Additionally, the program at least twice an hour seems to stray and plays crap during chillville. This app is great. Now onto the station. I've listened to 101x since I was first stationed at Fort Hood back in 1999, and have listened continuously since then. Through a deployment to Korea, at home on leave from Iraq, and in about six different states. I constantly know more about who is coming in concert to Austin instead of Tampa where I currently live. Which is unfortunate for me since I've missed good concerts. The jocks know their music and play some great stuff both old and new. Thank you folks for all that you do. You've earned a listener for life. ### 3/5 — CAN'T STAND THE BUGGY AD AT STARTUP!!! *2014-11-18* If I hear another ad for Pirate Energy, I'll vow to never buy a bottle of that stuff! Change the ads or remove them periodically! It's annoying that I have to hear "Trevin on the Radio" talk about "his friends at Pirate Energy" EVERYTIME I start the app. I've heard the commercial so many times, I almost have his script memorized! Whenever I see Pirate Energy in the stores, it reminds me of the obnoxious, annoying 101X ad and I avoid buying as if it were Ebola. Give us a break! ### 4/5 — Pretty cool, but.. *2013-07-10, version 3.0.8005* I love the fact that I can still listen to Alternative Rock even though I don't live in Austin anymore, BUT why the hell do they have to replay Jason and Deb skits throughout the day!? If I wanted to listen to them instead of music, I'd listen to them. The commercials are often interrupted by some lady screaming 123 then a song comes on. I'd rather listen to the commercials. This is probably the worst designed and engineered app I have ever used. I am a huge fan of the station and am very disappointed with Emmis' decision to make this update. Switching to liquid compass as a dev company was the worst thing you guys could have possibly done. It appears all of their apps are this bad. It's such a shame. ### 1/5 — Keeps cutting off *2013-06-22, version 3.0.8005* Fix the bug where it keeps cutting off middle of a program or song! ### 2/5 — It does what it does well, but that's not much *2015-09-17* I imagine that the station didn't ask Triton to do much here, so it's probably not fair to blame the app developers for this. When you set you sights low, and you hit the bullseye, you still end up with mediocrity. This app will allow you to live stream the station, to see a very limited song history, and to share or purchase the songs or see a brief profile of the artists. That's it - period. There is ZERO else here. Nothing about the station, or about the people working there (who you almost never hear on air) IDK much else about this station itself as this isn't a station I get from my home in Wimberley. The very limited things it does, it does cleanly, reliably and without any bugs that I found. It's too bad that I am now deleting this app as a waste of space as I otherwise love this station, I just have several other general radio apps (like 5150radio) I can program it into to listen to that will do the same things. ### 2/5 — Spotty connection *2015-07-16, version 4.31.2* I've used this app for the past week and every 30 seconds or so the sound will cut out for about 5-10 seconds and then come back. Sometimes it's longer.
