I loved the graphics, The Animations, The Voice Actors, The Gameplay, Even The Characters & Story!! My Favorite Character Is Fidget, She Is So Cute And Adorable, I Wish I Had One Of Those Fidget Plushies From The Actual Game Into Real Life!! Plus, A Really Shocking Twist At The End. I Was Crying Because This Game Went By So Fast And I Really Want There To Be A Sequel For This Game, If You Guys Announce Dust: An Elysian Tail 2, It Would Really Warm My Heart. This game is worthy
First, this game is beautiful with great controls and wonderful characters and all that jazz. But what made me give it four stars wasn't this. This game passed my test.
The storyline is WONDERFUL and enhanced by the amazing fully voiced cast! The voice adds a whole new dimension to it, endearing you to the characters and helping you sense what they're feeling. That voice helped this game to hit me right in the feels.
It is my personal belief that a good story (and, in turn, a good game) can get you emotionally invested I the characters and the plot. Within the first 30% of the game, I had goosebumps, the tears were flowing, and I was shocked at how much this $1 game touched me.
Dynamic, beautiful, surreal, this game messed with my heartstrings. I love it.
If you make a sequel, I will joyfully snatch it up in an instant. Thank you.Show lesssamzilla42
Buy this game
So, I don't typically write reviews; just not my thing. However, I do have to quickly say that this is by far the best dollar I have ever spent in the App Store. Period. End of story. I'm several hours in, have thoroughly enjoyed every second of it, and literally have zero complaints. As a bonus, I'll also mention that while it's totally playable with the onscreen controls, it plays even more beautifully with a paired controller. Throw in AirPlay to your TV and you might just forget your playing on a mobile device.Show lessMisterBGone
Wonderful
This game is great, few bugs that were mentioned, but i have only hit the strange colors screen once, and it was in the same area as mentioned multiple time. The artwork is great, especially for a mobile game. Voice overs and a story you actually want to listen to. Even more its not the same story you hear in every other game since Mario came out. Simply put, its worth the money ten times over. Get it love it play it and just enjoy the time used. I know I couldnt put it down tell i won.Show lessTorae7

I had to review this game, as it deserves it. This is one of the best platform adventure games I have ever played, let alone on my iPhone! I'm even considering buying it on the other platforms I own so that I can play it on the big screen. The hand drawn artwork is stunning, and once I modified the controls, gameplay is so fluid. I literally get lost in this game for hours, and don't even realize I'm playing on a phone. I only realize how long I've been playing when my phones says "20% battery left." It's that good. I was really unsure about it, and had seen people ramble about it, but when the price dropped, I took advantage, and boy am I glad I did. Great Port of a Classic! But...
The Good: The game is amazingly crafted from artwork to gameplay.
The Bad: As typical with some ports there are issues. Sound and Art. The sound can clip when the game is trying to process multiple sounds in a sequence. The artwork is truly something to behold... on a computer. I own this game on Steam as well and the colors and art its self is so vibrant and sharp. However it seems that for the port they've had to compress assets and in doing so have brought down the quality of the artwork.
Bottomline: A must buy for iOS if you don't have the Steam or other PC version already.Show lesspapalati
An amazing game for an amazing price: $1
Ever since I heard of this game and watched some of its walk through play videos, I got curious to try it. Finally got the game at $1 as I hoped for and let me tell you: I should've paid a bit more for this because this game so far is great. :D The art style, voice acting, all well done and even the controls for the (thank god for it) Bluetooth control pads like Steelseries worked marvelously without a hint of bugs or hiccups or delays. My ONLY concern is that the game's resolution isn't quite "HD" quality for iPad Pro 12.9" so I'm hoping for the update to come by soon that'll increase the game's graphics up to iPad Pro's native 12.9" screen output for a richer experience on that device. Everything else worked beautifully. :) Still a perfect rating. Just needs one more resolution push for the largest iPad's screen quality and then it's golden from here on out. Five Stars with a suggestion!
It's good enough as is but I believe the 6s plus could run it with more intense graphical settings. The graphics are good enough vs the Mac/pc version (which is beautiful even still), this is scaled back graphically but acceptable. I have pretty heavy games on this device and it can actually run them pretty smoothly. Heavier 3D games for example.
I have to much respect for this one to give it any less than 5/5 regardless of the scaled back graphics. And even at that it still looks alright. Just wish there was at least two settings for graphics. One as is and one that's at least a bit heavier.
Still getting used to the controls but that seems to be on me reading through others' reviews here. Don't mind having to practice.
Thanks for making this available on iOS. I've played through this on PS4 and OSX. And they're both perfect.

I have to say that I was really frustrated at first with this game. I waited for almost six months and finally the game was updated. After that I was able to play the game and I have to say this is one of my favorite of all times game. Simply the best of the best. Thank you!!!!❤️🙏🏻😝😊😊💙❤️💕😋☺️

Right after the cut scene the game kicks me out. For a game that costs more than five bucks it really hurts my pocket not being able to play it. I feel I have just been robbed.

There's no reason not to buy
This is truly one of my favorite iOS games I've played; I bought it a day and a half ago and I'm hooked. The controls are fluid, the soundtrack is spectacular, and the animation and design are truly flawless. I love the story (except for Chapter 2) and there are plenty of collectibles. The only two problems that I see is that sometimes some of the sounds don't register if a lot is going on (which is a bit distracting but little else), and that a sequel isn't already out.Show lessArdal Beowulf
