Simple & Easy Safari Ad Blocker
Everyone should use an ad blocker and Block Bear is the best one I've found. I've tried a lot of them. Block Bear offers the best and easiest to use ad blocker available for ios users. While it doesn’t always block everything and sometimes it blocks things it shouldn’t it still works better than most. Plus it’s free!
If it blocks something it shouldn’t you can just add that site to your whitelist to unblock it. There are 2 ways to white listsomething theoretically...but only one way works. To whitelist a webpage just open the app and copy/paste the link of the site you want to block to Block Bears whitelist. The other alternative to add a site to your whitelist is to use the share extension in Safari...but this method has never worked for me which is unfortunate because it’s the faster alternative.
The reason it seems that the Safari share extension doesn’t work is because instead of accurately copying the website address Block Bear copies a different link instead of the actual website link. This erroneous link always includes 'ycombinator' in the text. I'm not sure what ycombinator even is but it never works. This bug has existed as long as Block Bear has. So as long as you know that and stick to using the app to whitelist sites you want to block you'll be fine!Show lessvsatips
Great apps and company
Have all of their apps and pay, love them. This app could really use an update. I’d pay for it if it got them updating it again. Works well on here and I love it in Chrome on my desktop.tacogy3
It's great! But can we get iPod compatibility?
I downloaded this on my iphone 6s and it works just as it said it would. But when i tried to download block bear on my ipod touch it said it was not compatible can we maybe get iPod touch compatibility to as many old generations of ipods as we can go?Chocolatebar9000
Great add blocker bad cookie blocker
Block lists have not been updated on a long time.
Not too bad for web browsing but a few and third-party cookies are now getting through.
In the past it would block cookies when other apps were opened and linked to a browser or web hosted content. Now it is letting Facebook Google and other trackers and cookies through.Show lessKiwiHaka

Great App
Block bear made an impossible website be possible again. I couldn’t access one of my favourite news sites because of the new and constant pop ups that would make safari impossible to use, take me to new pages and tell me I’d won prizes. I searched for a pop up blocker, chose the first free one (block bear) turned it on in my settings, Tried the site again and it was instantly ok to use and back to how it used to be. Fantastic app.
This app. is amaaaaaaazing! It can completely remove those pesky ads that companies litter all over everything. I fully understand the need for advertising, but I don’t want my history to be tracked, monitored or recorded. I also don’t want my monthly data allowance to be wasted on videos that websites force me to watch to earn a few pennies.

Block trackers no longer works
“Block trackers” function no longer working since I updated to latest iOS last week. Advertisements are blocked but trackers are not being blocked. FB, the big G, Insta and Snap are finding ways around your app. An update is needed. I’ll keep using for another month for an update before switching blockers. Before this it was a 5 star app. Please update to maintain 5 star functionality.Show lessOsachi M
