I cannot even do the dedacticiel🥲. too bad the graphics are really good and it’s a good idea, but it doesn’t work.
Not my favorite, but has potential
I was excited to find an app that would immerse you in learning a new language. I found the app glitchy and did not always respond to my verbal answers. It was also a little cumbersome to navigate; I also did not care for the “immersive” interface. The characters speak, but their lips don’t move and moving from point to point in the scene was slow.
During conversations, characters would ask you a question or tell you a phrase in the language that you’re trying to learn, but for and advanced beginner, I did not always know what they were saying. I had to use a translator app to app find out what they were asking or saying. I’m not sure if this is user error with me not knowing the app very well. It would be helpful to have the ability to click the phrase to see the translation in order to answer.

Good concept; execution needs work
Good idea, but glitchy. The tutorial wouldn’t load, and the voice Interface sometimes couldn’t hear me, sometimes couldn’t understand me, and sometimes didn’t like my pronunciation (Apparently, I’m not pronouncing the M in “I’m”correctly. Seriously? How does a native American English speaker mispronounce M?) I couldn’t find any controls to check my mic. I was checking the app out for my ESL classes, but I think I’ll wait until the glitches are less intrusive before I recommend it to them.
