Not very free to use friendly

It’s great and works fine, however, when using the watch ads option to use the vpn for x amount of hours/minutes. Sometimes, more frequently than not, no ads will load and I will be swiping for a good 10 minutes between each ad interval which is rather annoying, and, in the end, what urged me to delete it to find a better app. As, it’s very frustrating to have to sit there scrolling for ages for an ad because the app won’t load any. Don’t know if it’s a me issue or an app issue, but regardless it’s more hassle than it’s worth so I don’t recommend unless you plan to pay for the full service.

Thank you for taking the time to review. We do understand the concern raised by you and will look into it at the earliest.

DO NOT USE THIS APP, IT SKIMS KEYSTROKES

As the title states, this app skims your keystrokes. Three of my personal online accounts were hacked into because of this app. Do yourself a favor and research legitimate VPN options out there. NordVPN, Express VPN, these are highly reputable companies and I am telling you to stay far away from this app.

Huge red flags within a minute of use. There is no such thing as a truly “free” VPN. If you have to watch ads for 5 minutes to get continual free access, this should be a screaming scam to you. Do yourself a favor, as well as your personal accounts, and get yourself a reputable VPN. Do your research, there are thousands of people who have been scammed with this app.

Hello! We understand that the subscription process didn't meet your expectation however the app does not have the capability to do anything without your approval. That being said, it is an auto renewing subscription and to cancel it you will have to go to your app store account and stop it from there. Hope this helps.

Can’t cancel my subscription

I am not using the VPN and in the FAQs it says to cancel at App Store but I don’t see an option to cancel there?

Response from developer

Hello! You can go to your app store account and check under active subscriptions.

Free to taste

This was a good app for awhile. When they switched from the ad/banner no time usage limit to only 30 min of use, unless you pay, it makes it a waste. If there was a clock counttdown to the 30 min that would help. I've been bumped off without no notice. Before this 30 min usage, it was fine to have the ad banner, in my opinion, its a way to justify the paid aspect. Since I don't use it often, the need to purchase is not justified for my use. I only need it for random functions every other month. So, I would not reccomend this for someone looking to use it more than 30 min at a time, throttled back now too.

Good, sans one issue

I really like this app! Exchanging ad watch time for VPN time is easy. The only problem is after having the VPN on for a while, when I go back to the app to disconnect it, it won’t let me. Then, closing the app completely seems to make it forget I have the VPN configuration already installed on my phone, and I have to go through a whole process of deleting the configuration and reinstalling it (which gets annoying). That is my only issue, though- otherwise I love this app!

Needs a little help to make it more accessible for voice over/screen reader navigation.

For people using voiceover or a screen reader, this app is extremely hard to navigate. I’ve had this app on my phone for several months now, and I still can’t figure it out, let alone use it. If someone could look over how to make this app compatible for voice over users, it would greatly help the blind community.

The Be All, End All of VPNs

Haven’t rated an app in over a decade I’d venture to say; and I don’t think I’ve felt compelled to ever leave a review, considering how many opinions already echo any number of sentiments I’d be sharing. However, this app is totally perfection, and really is a great model for what providing a free app for a vital app should look like. When it comes to a VPN solution this was made those of us tired of paywalls, especially when tiered access is so prevalent, and lower tiers still watch ads that generate revenue on top of the premium you’re paying to access a given service. Once you’re done viewing ads for the time allotment you need, no more ads. They make you view their premium offer and bypass it for the basic, ad fueled version every time you connect, but it’s a small price for such a big payoff. If an ad won’t load or stalls, you still get credit for it. You don’t get rollover time - so watch ads in the increments they offer because they don’t issue VPN time in equal increments per ad you watch so it’s not advantageous to try and watch one ad in the 24 hr slot (thinking you’ll get 2 hours after the first one). It always connects, has a great deal of locations to choose from, doesn’t slow down connectivity (significantly) very often, and absolutely means free in the way of not requiring an in app purchase. Kudos developers, this deserves a higher rating than the current 4.6 IMHO.

We are truly delighted to know that you like the app. Thank you for a top star rating and such a promising review. It means a lot to us.

Great but could be better

I’ve used this app for a good 4years. 3 on Samsung and 1 on Apple. The both work the same way and are really good for when I’m at school. These are minor problems but some ads won’t come on for a long time as i continue to swipe. When I do get up to the 24hr mark and I continue to swipe for 48hrs or 2 days they it will randomly delete all of it and I’d have to start it over. Sometimes when I’m in an area where I don’t need to use the vpn anymore it. Other than that I don’t have any other problems with it, but this is all that’s been happening on my Apple IPhone. Great app tho and gets the job done

Okay but very flawed

It get the job done occasionally but WOW is this app infuriating. Ads range anywhere from 3 seconds in length to two minute ones that aren’t skippable. The app is full of bugs so it’s a 50/50 chance that you’ll have to restart after one or two ads, because the app has either frozen or you can’t swipe to watch any more ads.
Plus this app is so needlessly power-intensive and drains your battery way too much when you’re using it. It’s so bad you can feel your phone literally heating up the from the performance usage.

It’s not worth to get for a free VPN. There are much better ones out there that don’t drain your battery ~10% when you open the app.
The premium service is better, but at that point you may as well buy one of the more mainstream paid VPNs. However, if no other free VPNs work for you, this buggy mess of an app is somewhat tolerable.
