It’s Luxury folks!
We’ve been using LE for a very long time and found them good value for money right up until COVID. Lately, not so much.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great company with an excellent app (more on this later). The service is also excellent and we have never been disappointed with the destinations which have been all around Australia and all over the world. So, big tick LE.
It just seems accommodation prices are now much more than they ever were, and although I could use any of a number of alternative booking sites I really can’t until my (substantial) COVID credit is used up.
On the new app; what happened to ‘Last Minute Escapes’? And why are there so few affordable offers for Sydney accommodation?Show lessBonzoD

If you search for offers in Australia, you will usually see these after the exclusive offers in the search results. In general, you can look in any destination in the upcoming 2 weeks using the dates field in search.New design looks fab!
The new design looks amazing! It’s much cleaner and easy to use than the previous one. I have been using luxury escapes for a few years now and found the old design harder to search for places I wanted to visit. The new layout showcasing the escapes really make the experience much more luxury. The search functionality is my favourite one to use, it takes me so much quicker to find the dates and hotels in a place I want to visit. Great job to the team!Show lessWeasel43

Why did this have to change its impossible to find what you are looking for. I want to look at the location and the map and see what is available. Where is the map function ? Now there are all these listings for hotels with rates that are not deals or packages with no ability to filter. This has become like all the other booking sites out there and the original concept of discounted packages seems to no longer be the purpose. All these expensive hotels are being promoted instead what a shame. I won’t even bother with this app unless it goes back to how it was.Show lessAirlieLOZZ

Buggy search function
I love this app in concept, but the search function leaves much to be desired. It can’t handle anything that produces more than a small number of results. Choosing to filter results to ‘Asia’, for example, produces ‘no results’ because it can’t handle the number of relevant deals. I also wish there was an easier way to search for hotels that can accommodate families with kids. Simply choosing the number of guests produces strange results (two babies sharing a sofa bed?) and there’s no way to look for properties with connecting rooms.Show lessPaperback Penguin

Wow where to start. Firstly most unstressful holiday ever. Sometimes you expect things to be less attractive with these deals. Maybe not the best dinning, the too good to be true scenario. No the trip the food the entertainment the accomadation all 5 star and hassle free.
I would like to thank Luxury Escapes publicly as they were so easy to deal with and sorted out an error on my side that they didnt need to, most companies would jump at the chance to keep your money.
I had booked an escape but due to covid had to cancel. What was exceptional on LE behalf was that I had past the date I had to use my getaway, I thought I would have lost it through my own stupidity.
But even though the time had expires Luxury Escapes credited the amount back to me so I cant wait to use it.
This just showed me what a genuinely honest caring company they are and I couldnt thank them enough.Show lessnzkiwitraveller

Great site book luxury accommodation
I have used Luxury escapes a few times and it never disappoints. Customer service is excellent especially during the pandemic when most things keeps changing. They have been very accomodating to sudden changes and helped us out with the refund quickly which we have used already. Very happy to be using Luxury Escapes!Show lessRomishem

I have used Luxury Escapes many times both in Australia and overseas and every time the result has exceeded expectations. What they offer is what you get plus more. However what places them at the top of the tree with our family is their approach to bookings made that were impacted during Covid.
