Ocean-View Upgrade
One bedroom ocean view apartment
My wife and I are very disappointed after paying the $160 extra to upgrade our room to $959 for 5 nights at Burleigh Heads.
I contacted Luxury Escapes/ Deals on the phone as soon as we checked in and realized our apartment is positioned low down, right behind the front tower of Ambience with no Ocean View from either our bedroom or living room as suggested in the advertising photography.
Considering this seems like a privately owned rented out apartment, with no resort like features as a typical Luxury Escape would include, plus the fact it doesn’t have an Ocean View as described,
it has been a disappointing holiday so far.
The managers here can’t find another option to move us so I would be happy if you could arrange staying at another LE Gold Coast option for our last 3 nights.
Otherwise we feel a refund is necessary.

Good in theory but only if you’re travelling with one other person. Most packages outside of Bali are for two only. We have two kids and the only way we can go is to buy two packages. Most of your packages include allowances for max one child but not two. So we are out of pocket every time (pay for 6 but only 4 of us). What’s worse is not only can you never do connecting rooms you can’t even guarantee they are near each other so we may as well just take separate holidays.
It’s so frustrating! You are missing a massive market, so many people complain about this but you never do anything about it. Loads of places (including ones you have packages for) can accommodate more than two or three people in a room yet you will never offer that option.
I’ve followed you for years and never booked because with issues listed above, it’s far cheaper for me to go direct and organise it myself.Show lessrealhousewivesofoz

The maximum capacity allowed is according to fire regulation policy at the hotels - the majority being 2 Adts + 2Chd (11yrs and under). Unless you have booked with the hotel direct, it is common that room requests such as connecting rooms are not guaranteed (subject to availability). We are doing our best to bring in more family value deals, and have implemented a "Home&Villas" option on our website showcasing packages that can cater to larger families and/or groups. We have used Luxury Escapes and app a number of times now and really love it. The hotels are outstanding and the app is easy, really user friendly. Can’t speak highly enough of this great holiday company.Jeanb1958
The Leaf Jimbaran
Not only is this hotel not In Jimbaran it is at least 15 mins from any amenities and the beach- with shuttle service only twice a day.
When we arrived at 3:15 ( check in is not till 3pm which is inconvenient) our villa was not cleaned so we were given a substitute- which is not particularly clean either. Villa floor and toilet walls look as if they have not been washed in a long time. Private pool not looking enticing either.
Luxury Escapes Dinner voucher included in the “deal” turned out to only entitle us to the “special?” Luxury Escape Menu choices - not the full menu. Also not entitled to eat at Fine Dining Restaurant but only at the chilly windy rooftop bar.
Free cocktail? Not if you don’t drink alcohol- no Mocktails on the list- got smoothie instead! Not appropriate for pre dinner drink.
Service on rooftop was very slow - took 30 minute get the cocktail- smoothie. We arrived for dinner at about 7:30pm and were not served (inedible) dessert till after 9 pm.
Also we have paid premium of about $300 by booking through Luxury Escapes- I thought Luxury Escapes negotiates great deals but obviously I was mistaken.Show lessAllierkn

Love the Luxury VIP Treatment
We booked to stay at the Outrigger Fiji and it was great. I loved all the luxury extra’s and it couldn’t have been simpler to book and pay. Now we have 3 kids, it’ll be great to have a filter to see luxury holidays specifically that includes 3 kids.vanessa.nz

Both our Luxury Escapes were smooth, great value, easy. Staff at Luxury Escapes we so friendly & helpful!! Staff at the establishments we went to were delightful, not once did we feel like we were treated as ‘package deal’ clients therefore less worthy. I don’t know how you secure such great deals in these fabulous places.
