App crashes after setting up free trial
It was great when it was free, so I decided to pay for the app. When signing up, it automatically puts you on a free one week trial. After signing up, app crashes ALL the time. If I go to any of the tabs on the left, it will act like it’s loading, then either give you a blank screen or freeze completely. So annoying. If this didn’t happen, I’d give the app a 4 or 5 star rating.

It really isn’t as bad as reviews state
First, I will be the first to say the app is not perfect with drawbacks like no print feature and occasional glitches. But for menus this is fantastic for Vegans. Some complain the free app doesn’t give you directions which is true. But how many people purchase free game apps all the time to find purchases are the only way to be successful in the game. Come on people it’s not free to have the developer put in their own time and money to create a pretty classy vegan recipe app. How many complaining about this app work for no compensation and give away the work the do. One Green Monster has daily recipes with ingredients and directions. But to get them all when you need them pay the subscription. It’s worth it.

for people having trouble
i just bought the 1 year subscription and so far everything looks great. i did notice a couple things people had complained about in reviews below and there ARE easy fixes:
if you buy it one one device and it won’t recognize your other device when you try to pull it up there (i bought on & it auto sync’d to iphone) just delete the app from the second device then go to itunes and re-install it. open it and sign in and viola! the 2 recipes i bookmarked and favorited were there then.
some people are upset about not having a printer option but why not just screenshot it on your ipad then use the screenshots while cooking or email the screenshot photos to yourself and then you can print them out. hope i helped 😊

Great idea but they shouldn’t charge until they finish developing the app
It’s a pretty app but you need to subscribe to get to the content. Once subscribed you’ll find many of the pages/ searches come up blank. Searching for common things like “low carb”or “Keto” will get you nothing. I would consider resubscribing if they finished development but it’s a little shameful that they are charging at this stage.

Still doesn’t recognise my subscription
After this new update I thought this app might actually work but it still doesn’t recognise my subscription! The app is useless! Such a shame as the recipes look so good. No help from the developers either!
Misleading
Contrary to description there are ZERO free recipes. It’s ok to charge but it’s not ok to lie about it by saying there are 500 free recipes. Highly unethical and unsustainable business practice. I’m deleting this app. Would have paid if it was honestly stated as a paid app.
Love the content...
...but the iPhone app crashes every single time I open it. I also like to print recipes so I can make notes after trying them. Not being able to print and crashing app = considering cancelling subscription despite loving the content.
I can't unsubscribe
This app seems to be impossible to unsubscribe from once you start paying for it....
Beautiful format /Terrible user experience
Love the app, the recipes and the photos. Terrible user experience. I have no internet Connection in my kitchen and cannot “follow directions” using the online recipes. I need the ability to print the recipe to use it. Not well thought out by developers without consulting folks like me; vegan and cook a lot. Missed opportunity by skipping the ability to click to open a printer friendly page. I’m cancelling now and will re-subscribe when this option is offered. Too bad for the One Green Planet, the cook, the planet and the animals.

Good recipes but that’s it
This app was good until you want to know how to cook the recipes. Then it tells you that you need to sign up with a monthly fee! The “free trail” doesn’t exist. So I’m deleting it. Find something that’s either free or has a one-off payment, like a book.
