iPhone X support ruined it
Reduced from 5 star rating as the game has become unplayable since the iPhone X update - filling the screen is nice and all but the controls should have stayed in the same place, not the same distance from the edge of the screen. Very difficult to hold the phone / reach controls now.cuckoo2000
Fun, but an annoying bug
The game is fun, but if ads pop up (and they do often), the game starts behind the ad. If you’re serving, it doesn’t matter. If you’re receiving or playing a training event, you miss out on at least one point most of the time.altheconductor
Great but sometimes annoying
I love this app. It’s my favorite game at the moment and it’s my go-to whenever I’m bored or have nothing to do. The controls are simple and you learn quickly. However, it seems that once you start to really get good and improve, the game doesn’t want you to win. For instance, if you’re playing a 2 game set against a player worse than you and you’re one point from a perfect game, it will make your opponent drastically better so that a perfect game is very hard to achieve. And I think some of the calls they make are not accurate because I’ve screen recorded a couple of games and seen where the ball goes. Also, I’m sick of playing Jeff because I’ve won like 10 games against him and he hasn’t beaten me once. He still is in every tournament that I enter and with my luck, I somehow manage to play him every single time. It’s annoying and I’m over it. Other than that, it’s pretty addictive and very fun! :)Show lessG. Bu$$
IPhone X controls do not feel natural
I love the fact that iPhone X support has been added, but the controls are far to close to the edges of the screen. They simply do not feel natural at all. I’m having trouble holding my phone while playing just to reach the buttons.Triccum
Addictive
Great game that I can’t stop playing. Only concerns are sometimes my touches don’t register and the math is off. I could be destroying an opponent and my touches suddenly stop working in favor of the AI. Whateves. Bigger issue is when I gain ranking points, e.g. 250, but only get 150. Best Game Ever
I like this game for all the tennis players like me. I played tennis for 6 years and I’m still playing tennis. And I found this game and I started playing I got addicted I played 3 hours in 1 day and this game is the favorite game that I saw in all tennis games in my iPad. Good Game!!
It’s fun and creative. However there’s only one problem. I don’t understand why my character will just stand in one area without moving when the ball is passing to his side. He doesn’t even bother to try and hit it. Why?Lucas 0944
Touch controls not easy to use
Why if I move the player does it just keep going across the screen. Touch controls are awful. And not sure why landscape mode would be preferred for a tennis court game that is longer then wider....Arewdee
Good flow & Nice controls
Game plays very fluid. Unlike most apps in this genre, they have obviously done a lot of research on the physics of the motion of the swing. What I mean is, in a lot of games, once the ball is at a low trajectory & u go to swing at it from an off angle(attempting a dig shot with the outside of your rachet) your not able to make contact with the ball due to a coding flaw, but this amazing title has no such flaw! I love this game, just not the mini games.
This is probably the best tennis game in the App Store. However, I have two serious complaints. The first one is the mini game. I hate touch tennis mode, and the fact that you are promoting it through the only reliable way to get clothing is terrible. The second complaint is how when I unlocked everything on the game and got a replacement phone, I had my progress in story mode, but none of my clothing or clothing colors. I had to pay for the clothing to be unlocked and worked hard to get back my clothing. Now I got a second replacement phone (both phones were defective) and I have to work for the clothing again. This really annoys me because I love the game, but I don’t feel that I have to keep paying for something I already bought. If you could just change the mini game to something better, I would be very appreciative. This is my favorite tennis game in the App Store.Show lessDude that Reviewed
