After update a month ago/ log-in fixes?

I relied on this app for all my travel needs. As a weekly traveler for work. Since the “log-in” update a month ago I can’t access the app. I have to go on an actual computer to access my account. Which still takes a few log in attempts. Extremely frustrating especially since I sent an email asking for assistance and still haven’t received any.
The last few years I booked everything in the app for “hotel engine”, which was awesome and absolutely amazing. Now “Engine “ honestly is a massive disappointment and has massive app issues especially with logging in. If you need this app for phone use only wait for more “bug fixes “.

Price

There is nothing special about being referred this app. The hotels are the same price as booking anywhere else if not more expensive

Be careful!

There are some good deals out there. You have to be careful I booked a hotel room at the Hyde Hotel in Hollywood Florida room cost was $148 plus taxes and fees that came to $302 for one night stay then when I checked out I got hit with another set of resort charges taxes and fees by the hotel. Tried to go through Hotel Engine with no avail. So what should it cost me $300 to stay the night at this property ended up costing me $585 that’s why I say be careful careful especially at properties that charge resort fees because they are not in the price of Hotel Engine and they don’t let you know that.

Priceline is cheaper

I made an account with this company bc of their ‘promises’ to be significantly cheaper than anything you can find publicly …. I am drastically disappointed. After submitting my CC info, just so I could finally VIEW the actual offers, it’s nothing different price wise. The only difference, I can see, Is the ability to accumulate loyalty pts. Meh… big whoop

Room rates

Room rates on HE are getting worse especially when they are exactly the same as what the hotel is already offering

The Hotel did not have loyalty #

I have learned from this lasts trip, that I need to check and confirm that the hotel was booked using the loyalty #. HE failed to provide that information to the location.

I sure of what to think

Booked a room with the ap and used it while on a nursing travel assignment, they say that you can obtain points through Wyndham using the ap for certain hotels however I contacted Wyndham and basically it was a lie since it was 3rd party. Bad business for advertising. You shouldn’t lie on other companies to receive business and make the customer feel like there are perks to utilizing your service

Great App And Support

This is a great booking app they take care of you in every way. Super helpful and convenient. Thanks hotel engine

Horrible service

Every single time I have booked with this company I have had hotel issues or refund issues. The staff seems friendly at first but do nothing for you when you are in need. They don’t listen to your preferences on the phone and don’t even reward the refund! I have been put on hold for 30+ mins before or told “we will call you back” when in reality after 2+ hours you will have to call them back just to be told they couldn’t do anything for you. It took a WHOLE DAY to discuss if I could get a refund for a hotel that I canceled in the allotted amount of time on the app but them telling me I couldn’t?! Even though I was within the policy’s rules. I booked a hotel the had okay rating to find out I was put in a room with BED BUGS and I am told I am getting only half of my money back in travel credits whenever I asked for a full refund to my card. They disregard your preferences and try to just scam you out of money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!!! They only want to screw you over!
