Great app for our company

This app is great. Reservations are quick and easy. Only advise I have is read about section of any hotel you like and look at parking there have become more and more money hungry hotel that charge $10 or more per day to park in their parking lot. Since buried in description most don’t see and hotel don’t say anything but will charge you with card on file in middle of night and slide receipt under door read parking section closely they will get you if not.

I saved half off of my hotel cost rebooking with Hotel Engine….where have you been all of my life!!!!! Wow!!!

Booking took me half a minute

Love the ease of use of this app. Really helpful with my favorite bookings on the fly and also being able to use my rewards points.

First Time Use - Utter Fail

After talking to the sales person at HE, I signed up for an upcoming trip. I did not know this, but as soon as I booked the rooms, they billed me. After a couple of weeks, the trip plan changed by one day so called customer service to cancel one day on both rooms.
Upon arriving at the hotel, they moved one room and hotel canceled the other due to a “no show” and hotel engine’s cc didn’t work. We called customer service again and they said they’d call right back. No fun sitting in hotel lobby for three hours and several attempts to contact HE was a dismal failure. I then called and got two rooms at a different hotel and I’m still waiting for the refund from the original hotel.

Terrible app stay away

This is the only review I have ever written for an app, this thing is terrible. Constant booking errors, half the time they don’t carry your rewards information through especially IHG. Since my company started forcing us to use it for booking our rooms in December I’ve easily wasted 20 hours of my life dealing with its issues. All of my companies 30+ pilots HATE using it. It has easily become the least favorite part of my job. Terrible experience.

Dont do it

My company makes us use Hotel Engine. Very bad experience consistently. We will book rooms, get to the hotel, and then be told by the hotel that there are actually no rooms available. Whether you get your loyalty points for Hilton is 50/50. You never know. And they don’t even have a loyalty program for Marriott. Then asking for help from Hotel Engine support is pointless. Don’t do it.

Never the app keep the first price

Absolute junk in every way

This app is unreliable. When I try to make a reservation, 9 of 10 times I cannot process the reservation and have to close the app completely, open it back up and start all over again with a different hotel. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app multiple times, but still have the same problem. I can’t keep count of the numerous times my people are left standing at the hotel desk unable to check in, and can get no help from the “support desk” at hotel engine after I finally have made a reservation.
