  • Such a shame

This could be a really good app the stories are great. Having to wait 3-24hrs to read the next chapter is completely rediculous, and theres no way to earn coins or anything like that to unlock the chapters more quickly. I wouldnt mind if i could buy the book. Its such a waste of time waiting around for the chapters to unlock and it feels like such a shame that they have ruined the experience of reading the stories by doing this. Please sort this out even if you have to pay for the rest of the book in one go would be better or just a subscription per month would be an upgrade!

  • What a Shame!

Don’t bother downloading this app - I was really excited when I first downloaded this app. I started reading The Billionaire’s Surrogate which so far is incredible. However the fact that the reader has to wait 3 hours before they are able to read each chapter (which the average reader can finish in less than 10 minutes) is disgusting! How are we supposed to lose ourself in a book if we can only read small segments at a time? Readers are given the option to pay extortionate prices to receive coins to unlock chapters but it is so expensive!

As a reader I would much rather be charged £20 and be able to read the full book than have to pay £4 every day for coins !!

I have no idea why writers would choose to publish their hard work on this platform, as it is impossible for readers to enjoy it the way the author intended.

  • Quite disappointed

Thought while on lockdown I would give this app ago as I do love a good book , you get right into a book then you have to use coins or wait a while to unlock a chapter this time can vary between 15 mins or 48 hours which is a bummer. I think the coin purchase is ridiculous as you barely get any coins for the price you pay. I mean if you pay a set price for the book that would be fine!!!
Fair enough the the description say if we buys coins the author earns a bit of money at this rate they will be millionaires

  • Good app but some problems

I have been using the app for quite a while now and the stories are pretty good on here. At the moment I’m reading torn between alphas, I’m supposed to be getting a free episode however it isn’t letting me read the next chapter without using 3 coins. I talked to some people on the live chats and people are having the same problem. This app is actually pretty expensive now for me kinda disappointed. I hope the app creators fix this soon otherwise I may just delete the app.

  • OBSsessed can’t get enough

I have an unhealthy addiction to this app. I’m like going broke bc I can’t stop reading the stories...the cliffhangers drive me crazy! RN I love Forbidden Vampire and Then Comes Baby. I love that it feels like they last forever! Reminds me of a CW show. Also love that unlike so many apps there’s LGBTQ stories too, and it seems like they’re really making an effort in terms of not just having all white ppl in the story. The RadishOriginals are by far my favorite. It’s also very user friendly, i’m kind of a moron when it comes to technology but it’s super easy to use. It’s basically like Netflix for books lol. I convinced 2 friends and even my friends Mom to download them and we’re thinking about having a quarantine book club for The Alpha’s Boyfriend. Seriously this app is a godsend Rn during quarantine. Deffff recommend!

  • Disappointing

I think that this app should not charge people such large fees to read books that would cost a fraction of the cost in a real book store. With how short most of the chapters are, it is ridiculous to have to wait 24 hours to have to read another equally short chapter. I enjoy reading these stories but it is starting to get annoying that i can’t simply read the book the entire way through. Personally I have used and still sometimes use a different reading app which I sometimes enjoy more because only a few of the stories cost coins and also the other app gives you the ability to leave comments which I enjoy reading because it allows you to know what other readers think. For example while reading a romance where the main character has two people chasing after them it is interesting seeing who people think is right. Even with the ability to receive 3 free coins each day which is enough to read one short chapter of only one of the books I am reading. That leads me to the fact that 3 is an odd number and i don’t understand why it can’t be 2 coins per chapter especially when the packs you buy are not even multiples of three. It is obvious the owners are more interested in putting extra cash in their pocket then giving the customer the experience the want and deserve. The only reason it isn’t a one star review is because there still seems to be good stories on the app.

  • Too expensive and time consuming. Stories great

I love torn between alpha. Still reading it! Thankfully it’s only an hour wait between chapters..... still that’s too long! Some are 24hours waits. If you don’t unlock the chapter once the hour wait is up it won’t count down another hour to unlock the next page, it waits until you’ve unlocked the chapter before it’ll consider the next chapter. In Dreame app it stacks up so if you wait a week on dreame you’ve got plenty of unlocked chapters and saves frustration of waiting hourly to read another chapter.

The coins are expensive £3.99 for 27 coins which is 9 chapters. Sometimes the chapter feels small compared to other chapters. You might get to unlock 3 coins for free once a day.

If you could pay £10-15 for the book I’d happily do that. So far I’ve spent £20-24 roughly to read extra chapters. I’m sure from start to today’s update I could easily spend £200 to read all the chapters and get upto date. Some books you need to buy coins to read pay 8-50chapters

    5stars for the stories
1 star for the app. If you made it cheaper for coins so we aren’t spending a fortune I’ll happily change my review to five stars. It costs too much to indulge in reading :/ and possibly wait time 10-20mins? It’s dire waiting an hour or even longer on other books

  • Ripoff

It’s pretty clear that the 5star reviews are fake. They’re all from a year or more ago!! Probably when the app was created and who knows maybe then it wasn’t like this???
Who can afford the coins to progress one chapter?! And why doesn’t waiting 6 hours then give you 2 chapters?! No it gives you one, you must activate the first chapter before it will load the countdown for the next one!!
I’m all for supporting talented writers! There should be an option to buy the books outright! Or buy a specific number of coins - not be stuck subscribing to a set amount per week that still doesn’t cover the amount of coins you would like to read the book! Very disappointed. I would have given zero stars but the content is good - the execution is horrendous.

  • Great reads but aggravating

The stories that I have been reading are really good! They are so addictive that you don’t want to stop reading them. My problem is I could go broke trying to read them. Already spent more than what you would if it was a book you could purchase somewhere and I’m not even half way through yet. Having to wait that long for the next free chapter that takes me 5 minutes to read then have to wait for the next one is very aggravating. I would definitely buy whole books on here for $5-6 each as much as I read and as good as the stories are that I have read I would still be spending more money but would feel it would be more worth it.

  • Love the stories but once I paid too much for coins the app crashes

I was really enjoying the stories but was getting annoyed having to wait for the free episode. Decided to pay for some high priced coins and now the app has crashed and I can’t read half the pages!! Would be fantastic if you could choose to pay one off for the whole book!! Otherwise I love the app
