Much love went into this!

Very grateful to have the readings from the Prologue with me when I’m on the move, as it is not always practical to carry the two-volume set with me. There are many beautiful features of this app that make the yearly price completely worth every penny.

What it lacks and what I hope will be added later is the fasting calendar of the Church. This would really be the perfect Orthodox app if that was included.

Best Orthodox App!

Love this app! I’ve had it for a couple of years and it’s well worth the subscription!

Wonderful

I just wish there was a key guide/legend for the fasting symbols. That would be very helpful. Other than that this app is amazing and beautiful!

Amazing Orthodox App

Great features with a premium touch for Orthodox Christians all over the world. Thank you and God Bless the developers of this app 🙏☦️

So much potential

This app looks very nice. It’s clear that they thought a lot about it’s visual appeal. Unfortunately it’s usability and price is disappointing. If I want to pray morning prayer, I would like to be able to scroll through all the prayers (or better yet set which prayers I would like to appear in order. As is I have to go back to the menu to select each prayer.

Also it is irritating that even after paying for the basic, it has a little message at the bottom of every reading trying to get you to upgrade to full. If you ask me I think you should do away with the tiers and just have a single upgrade.

All-in-one app!

I love this app. I’ve tried every Orthodox app out there, and I’ve settled on this one along with the AFR and the OSB apps. This is my most used app because I can pull up the morning prayers, the daily scripture reading, and the lives of the saints with one click. It’s beautifully designed and intuitive to use. The audio on some of the readings is a nice extra.

Glory be to God!

I am overjoyed at discovering this app! I have only just now purchased the full yearly subscription, as I wanted to access the audio content. For many years, I have been reading the Prologue from Ochrid in the wonderful translation by Mother Maria published by the Lazarica Press in Britain. However, I have been suffering from a chronic health condition which has severely affected my ability to read, and have had to give up this and other kinds of reading which are not available as audiobooks. But now, thanks to this app, I can now listen to St Nikolai’s nourishing words once again. The translation is slightly different from the one I was used to, but no matter — it is the meaning which is important. Many thanks to the developers, and to Father Norman Kosanovic.

As I have only just begun to use this app, my review must be provisional, but I hope to return, my health permitting, to give an update after further experience.

First problem has already appeared: The Reflection for March 2 is supposed to be available as audio, but when I press play, nothing happens. The Play icon changes to Pause, but the progress indicator doesn’t move.

March 3: Homily kept stopping. A streaming problem?

Just want push notifications

I’ve NEVER wanted push notifications for any app and the one app that I actually want them on doesn’t have the option. Please add daily notifications! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Can’t access features

When trying to open the synaxarion I am prompted to subscribe. I am already subscribed and my subscription is valid until August.
Update : I restored purchases and no problems. This app is excellent.

Really wanted to like this app

This is a beautiful app, but the pricing is incredibly disingenuous. $3.99 gets you...next to nothing. I would expect quite a bit more content than a simple paragraph and single icon picture.

It takes an additional $14.99 to make the app actually usable. The subscription isn’t even shareable to the rest of the family - making this app a very expensive proposition for a family to expand their knowledge and faith.

A single in-app purchase to the $14.99 subscription and being able to share that within a family would be a welcome change. Or simply offer more content for $3.99 - I don’t care about audio content, for example, but I feel like full text should be available for $3.99.
