Can’t share “Pro” across my own devices
I love this app, but when I set it up on my second device (iPhone and iPad), the second iteration would not reflect the Pro fee, and I can’t set up Face ID because the app is not registering that I have already purchased the Pro version.Sickofrollbacks
Absolutely brilliant password manager
Password Safe Pro is absolutely the best password management app I’ve ever used. It’s simple, robust, yet configurable to most any need. Case in point: I even have images of important documents stored in its database. After reading various negative reviews of this app, I am of the opinion that they’re unwarranted. For starters, it is explicitly made clear that you need your master password to access your database. There are no security questions or passphrases to recover it, nor can the developer (or anyone else, including a bad actor) exploit a “back door” to crack it. That’s the beauty of this password manager’s security: no password, no access. If you have memory issues, save your master password somewhere. Regardless, if you can’t remember your password, that’s not the fault of the app or the developer. In terms of backing up your database, the app supports automatic backups to iCloud and/or locally on your device, and you can also manually save a backup to a number of destinations. What more do you need? Lastly, I like the idea of supporting independent developers who produce quality products. This is one of those situations.Show lessAnesthesia Dan

Was looking for a simple secure app to handle my multiple passwords. This is easy to navigate and manage your passwords.Killianric
Loved it until I swapped phone
I’ve been using this app for years, bought the premium and loved it. However, I have just changed phones but can’t remember my password and there’s no way of recovering it. I backed up my data but forgot to look up my password for the app in the app.
The issue is that I’ve relied too much on facial recognition and was always too busy and in a hurry to type in my password.
I have now lost hundreds of passwords and other info and have no chance of recovering them.
My mistake I know, I have changed phones many times and always remembered until now.
Now I’m thinking it’s not such a good app after all.Show lessMalsford

Thats also why the app regularly asks for your master password to help remembering. Do you have your old device and are able to login via biometric? Let me know via email for instructions! Hello, if you have any constructive feedback or need any assistance just let me know via email. The app uses simple common ui and ux to be conform with what user expect. So just use "+" button to add an entry, enter details you want to save and then press "save". Reading out data is even more easier, just login and open the entry of what you want to see the details. I paid for the pro version then my the place where I keep passwords was taken and i couldn’t remember my password. There is no way to reset or get help even when you message where it says contact me.
So even when you pay you get no support.Moorange

Hello, everyone gets its answer...🙄 sorry, but as its also written on very first login, where you defined the password: there is no backdoor or similar in the app, so there is unfortunately no possibility to recover a password if its lost, something is corrupt or something else as everything is completely encrypted! To reset everything you need to delete the data of the app. This can be done via re-installation or via iTunes, when having device connected, where you can delete app data via "File sharing" option. I used my Password Safe earlier today, but now I am locked out. I now get a message saying, I used the wrong password. There is apparently no way to get into this app ever again. I hate this! I have quite a few passwords in there that I’ll just have to change. This is not right.iamreading

I purchased password safe pro less than a year ago on a phone that was stolen.
I didn’t realize that my password weren’t backed up. I lost over 87 passwords.
Now the app is not recognizing my new phone as a paid pro user. I am being offered the free and limited version of this app.
I searched for email or contact phone information of this company to inquire how to transfer my subscription to my new phone but to no avail.

Hello, this app is explicitly advertised and described as an offline app for security and privacy reasons! As also explicitly stated therefore its not possible to do an automatic sync! Secondly, purchases are bound to the account that made it and to the platform. So just use "Restore purchase" in upgrade section to restore it...
