Not iPhone compatible

Purchased the “Pro version” nothing shows up but a compass looking screen with the current location- no other screens- looks like it would be a good ap based on their website but will not work on iPhone.

We don’t have a pro version of the app. There are many other competing apps providing Lite and Pro versions while Sun Locator is just a single one focusing on what the name says - locating the sun. Hope you can enjoy the new update we just released that allows you to pick time of the day and month of the year.

Doesn’t worth the money

Unable to change the time so the sun location is in offset
Also no other functionality.

Absolutely useless

Contrary to the description, all this app does is tell you where the sun is in your current location, at the current time... so nothing more than you could find out by looking at the sky. It gives you absolutely no information about where the sun will be at different times of day, or at different points in the year. Don’t waste your money.

Money trap

I downloaded the app to be able to track the position of the sun for any daytime so I know where to expect the sunlight to be coming from at a certain time. The app just shows you the current position without any further functionality. That’s $2 for pretty much nothing. Don’t waste your money.

What a waste, this app is garbage

Doesn’t even point which is north, every time you open the app it needs calibration.

The app clearly shows the direction of the north in the middle of the geocentric circle. Calibration is required by iOS and we don’t trigger it ever. So sorry to see you disappointed but we’re willing to improve it. Please let us know if you have any ideas on how to make it better. Thanks!

Really disappointed

The description does not make clear that there are no settings, or any functionality to input location or time criteria. It is is basically a sun compass which only tells you sun availability in your specific location now.

Useless. Completely useless

It has no instructions or settings whatsoever, indicated the wrong time zone, and worst of all, gave no clear indication of the angle of the sum movement across the day.

Sun locator

Estate agents take note , how many times have you been asked where the sun is at any given time , from Windows gardens skylights well this app is brilliant quickly answer those questions adding confidence and knowledge to your clients
