  • Great app, iot button?

This app is much better than tracking how much water I’m drinking, brilliant idea. Would it ever be possible to set up an IoT button that I could leave in the bathroom that I could use instead of needing to use my phone or Apple Watch? Thanks so much for this simple and useful app
  • Works great but doesn’t include sleeping

This app is great for recording how often I pee and reminding me to drink water, but one thing I don’t like is that it continues the calculations while I’m asleep. When we fall asleep our body automatically holds pee and doesn’t send the urinate signals nearly as frequently as it would if we were awake. But the app then says it’s been 9 hours since I peed and it offsets my averages. Maybe you could add a feature where you click a button when you go to sleep that pauses the reminders and averages calculation, and then you press a button when you wake up for it to start again. I have the average day start set to 7 am but that hasn’t changed anything for sleep averages.

I think requiring a user to tap a button going to sleep and again when waking up is too big of a barrier for most people. The app is designed to be very simple, and only require tapping one button when going to the bathroom without any other required inputs. I realize it’s normal to have long periods overnight without peeing, but there are also more complicated situations, like when people wake up in the middle of the night to pee. I am considering changing it so the span of time in the overnight period doesn’t turn the bar red if it’s over 5 hours, because that makes it seem like a bad thing. Hopefully that would help make it seem like it’s not a bad thing. Otherwise, the averages should balance out over time with regular use of the app, even if they include sleep periods. If you have any other ideas around this please email me at peeandsee@ganotis.com and we could discuss possible solutions. I have thought about this a lot and discussed with other users but want to be confident in any possible solutions before making major changes to how the app works.
  • Supporting not so great habits

I’ve been doing pelvic floor PT and half of it is not peeing more often than you should. Voids should be at least 8 seconds long and happen every 2-3 hours. You should be sipping water, not guzzling, or it just goes right through you. I wish there was also a stop watch on this so you could time the length of your void. This would give you a more accurate reading than just marking when you pee because you could be peeing just a little every hour versus a full bladder every few hours.

Thanks for the suggestion! This is the first time someone has requested that. I will consider adding it!
  • Doesn’t sync w/ my Apple Watch

I downloaded a bunch of water apps and this was the only one I kept updated. I’ve found myself using the Apple Watch app more frequently because it’s easy to log effortlessly. Unfortunately, the pees logged on my Watch don’t sync with the app on my phone, and I have to enter the times manually. This was ok for the first couple of days I was enamored with the app, but it’s tedious and a bit of a pain. I like the graphs on the iPhone app, so I hope that this can be fixed soon. The app is kitsch and fun, and I’ve definitely been drinking more water. My boyfriend and I are comparing the amount we pee 100% more than previously, so thanks for that, I guess!

Hello! That is not normal. Please try turning your phone and Apple Watch off and then back on. If that doesn’t help, please contact me at peeandsee@ganotis.com. I want to make sure we get this resolved!
  • This is a great tracker

I needed this because i work long hours and I’m on my feet all day. Sometimes i forget to do the simple things like pee. I like to see how many times ago and i love how it shows that i need to drink water. The only thing i wish is that it accounted when you were sleeping. Overall great app purchased the full version

  • I love this app but..

So I have this issue where I’m up until 6 am and don’t get up until 12 pm. I keep changing it to have the day start at 11 but no matter how many times I do this it changes it back to 4 am. Making everything inaccurate. Please help!

Edit: issue was fixed thank you!!!
  • Fantastic, thank you!

I’m young and have some neurological issues that cause me to use the bathroom really often. In order to determine if a new medication is helping, I use this app to track how long I go in between pees. It’s easy to use, has a neat widget, can be used on my Apple Watch, and reminds me to go if it’s been a while. I know I’m not a typical user but I’ve been using this app for months and it’s really helped me! Thank you

  • My favorite app of all time

I’ve been logging my pees for two years. No reason why, I just do and I enjoy it. This app also let me know I was pregnant, as I was on birth control and had no reason as to why I was peeing so frequently. I took a test and BAM PREGNANT. So thank you, pee and see for letting me SEE that I was pregnant!
I’m also thinking of upgrading my phone this year to that shiny new iPhone 12. I’m worried most about losing my data. How do I go about that? Do I get the subscription?

Thank you so much for that nice review! I’m glad you like the app! As long as you’re signed into iCloud on your phone and you are not out of iCloud space all your data is privately and securely backed up to your iCloud account. If you delete the app or get a new device, all your data will be restored when you open the app for the first time (this can take a few minutes to complete). This backup and restore process happens whether you’re a subscriber or not, unless you’ve turned off iCloud for Pee & See in the Settings app. Also, if you back your phone up with iCloud and then restore it to your new phone you probably won’t even need or see that other restore process because everything will be backed up and restored automatically along with the app. If you have any questions send me an email: peeandsee@ganotis.con
  • Thank you

I have to say I’m grateful for the existence of this app. And though I don’t have a need for it anymore it was extremely useful when I did need it and I couldn’t believe the perfect app existed for this type of purpose. Thank you to the developers :)
  • Better than any water intake app out there!

I love this app because of it’s simplicity. I tried using water intake apps but they never worked out for me, I’d end up ignoring the notification or lying about my water intake. Pee & See is easier to use because I don’t have to go back and try and estimate how much water I’ve drank. Instead, I just log a pee. It’s simple and helps me to drink water more often.
