  • A wonderful video calling service.

It’s the next best thing to being with your friends and family. It als has video effects which can be fun especially for the little ones. It easy to use especially if your getting on a little. I’ve never struggled with it. I started using it dur the shutdown and continue to use it at lest twice a week, both on my tablet and phone. Give it a try you won’t regret it!

  • Bonnie Ortiz

Ms Ortiz was very high tensed in her voice in treatment today. It was our first in person meeting, In our assessment today the client explained about her day, where her stress was gathering from and causing her much negativity. Client identified aggression towards her co workers and made clear it was a very negative situation, I did express a positive view of acknowledging she was very prompt and on time. I gathered she needed me to listen to her concerns and extremely frustrated high tense Expressing, a bit of anger. I asked her how her day was? in her verbal distress I gave her some eye contact and sympathy that everything was gonna be okay. Client was heated in her mannerisms yet again expressed verbal tense threats towards her colleagues and mother. I reaffirmed to the client, what will make her feel better? It did catch her thoughts and I gave her some dialectical response of journaling and expressing her feelings and emotions We will work on a plan of action on the next visit. We did some breathing techniques and I asked how she wasfeeling now? I did asked her to relax and let’s focus on her. Her needs and goals.. Let’s solve the tension and focus solely on her health Also live one day at a time. I’m glad she was able to bring her blood pressure down and realized she was an amazing person. Client asked if we can do more cat therapy and don’t skills.

  • I don’t trust this app anymore.

Today was also the second time I have turned off my camera in the app but it was showing me to others in the meet. This is a significant security issue specially it was not showing me that my camera was off, the camera icon was off on my phone and also my phone was turned off which should not happen as I have never seen any app to have access to the phone’s camera when you’re not in the app specially when the phone is off. The voice quality is nice but every time I join a call and I try to check another app too early I leave the call and sometimes the app kicks all of us from the call mid call.

  • Another poor quality Google product

I was forced to install this when I had to leave my desk during a meeting. Why not just let me use a private browser window like in Safari on my Mac? Then found I was only getting 50% of the audio before being disconnected after five minutes, in an area where both Slack and FaceTime have no trouble. After eventually reconnecting and turning off the incoming shared screen, the connection held. But then later, no obvious way to turn the shared screen back on so I could attempt to see what was being discussed. Typical poor quality UI from Google and sub standard product in general compared with competitors, including even MS Teams! Probably gathered a bunch of information about me and my device in the process as Google takes as much data as possible at any opportunity.

  • New apple user issues

Hey! I love this app, I’ve had an andro for so long and loved this because unlike FT anyone can use it and it has share screen, effects, drawings, all of it! Recently I moved to iPhone and I’ve been calling my friends but now I can’t share screen or do the doodles, there is a lot I can’t do anymore, and looking through other comments I see that the screen sharing is only available to some androids, and sure but before when I was using meet on my iPhone, like maybe a month?, I could use everything. I’ve updated, reinstalled, all of this, and nothing fixed the doodle issues or other effects, but I still use it to call my friends and such so it’s ok. Another thing that’s really annoying me is that when I move to another app while I’m still in call, it cuts video, still on call but I can’t see them. Anyways that’s all, will the screen saving come back? I can’t screen record with audio either

Hi there. You can present your entire screen or a specific window in a meeting. We suggest to take a look at this article goo.gle/2Zbd0sJ. You can also add visual effects to your video feed in Google Meet on iOS. Visual effects are a range of filters and face masks that can add variety, fun, and personality to your calls. Learn more: goo.gle/3zM9YKN. We hope to have helped.
  • Functionality

I would like to give a better rating for Meet but my experience using the app hasn’t been the most pleasant. It’s really hard to operate/understand on iPhone. What I mean is that what should be typically easy to maneuver from one thing or part to another is not clear and/or doesn’t work correctly. Maybe it’s just me?! I’ve tried many different ways to see or understand parts of the app like for instance the call log, but what I try to get information on in the call log is not there or available..??.. I’m not sure if I’m making sense but it has been frustrating to me to use the app smoothly. Not just the call log but creating/writing messages, sending/viewing videos, etc have not worked to my satisfaction. Also, when I’m attempting to make video calls 9/10 I cannot have success and the app always says not connected to the internet. I know that is not the case but have still done troubleshooting to no avail. I’ve researched and read forums but nothing has resolved this issue. I’ve had this same issue for as long as I’ve used the app.

Hey guys so this is a review where i start yapping in 3 2 1 for a few months to get a better feel of what I am looking at in my head but it seems to me like the best thing is to just go for a little more than that I don’t have any experience in this sub so if I am not looking at the same stuff I would be better at this than the others so if I can do that then I’ll go ahead with the plan but if you want I would be interested to know if I am not going back in time and if you want me too but if I can just say I will go ahead with the same things that you guys have to do that is what you can go back and I don’t want you guys to see you know I don’t know what you can do it

  • The good and bad things about Google meet!

Google meet in my opinion is a very good app for calling my friends - especially the ones without iPhones- and being able to send funny and creative texts to them. The only issue with this is that some of the filters my friend are using or have I don’t and someone I was calling had a doodle pad on call that is on the app which I don’t seem to have. That is the only bad thing about it but otherwise I think this is a very successful app!
    Thank you x
