Awesome but VERY glitchy for me…
Dear Creators and Moderators of Google Meet,
This app is phenomenal. It lets me talk with my friends who don’t have iPhones, and it’s a lovely way to communicate with other people. Although I experience some difficulties along the way, this glitch started happening to me today. Whenever I’d receive a call, and even though I excepted it, it would glitch it would kick me out of the call before I could even connect. I found this very frustrating and annoying that I couldn’t join the meet. Also, even when everyone else was in the car, it would say that none of them were on a meet. Also, when I started my own, it said it was ringing somebody, but it never actually was. It and when I tried to end the call, it wouldn’t let me. It kept making this weird sound. I would either need to close the tab or hit the X button in a completely different tab. Please help with this glitch. Kindest regards.

Awful iOS app, continually kicked out of meetings
Since they moved to this new app I’ve had nothing but issues.
The main issue is if you do not sit there with your phone unlocked or stay in the app, it is highly prone to crashing. It performs poorly with multi tasking and if I am walking I am forced to hold the phone in my hand so I don’t get dropped from the call.
The old app did not have this problem and was very reliable. This one if I join a meeting and waiting for people to join and put the phone in my pocket, it will just quit the call and as I don’t know people haven’t joined I end up coming late to the call as I didn’t know I was dropped. We have a paid Business account yet this happens.Show lessopmc-chris

New version don’t work properly google don’t appears to work details before release .. when connected to Apple TV screen Donot rotate. That makes dumb choice to connect google meet !!i2abbby

I loved this app u should try it too
There was family where u can show the other person ur drawings and there are effects meaning that ur face will change into a d emoji e.t.c but some people have screen sharing and some people don’t which makes it hard to tell the other person what to do on their phoneShow lessUnknown sorrybro
Doesn’t work
It’s only asking me a phone number and doesn’t allow to connect to a meeting through browser!!! On PC it is working in browser without any issues!alexyzq

Stopped working??
I’ve had Google meet for a little while to message and call with my friends. It was working fine but than time to time it would become laggy. Now I can’t even use the app, when I open it, it either closes the app or just freezes making me not be able to click on anything. I have updated and restarted my phone but nothing is workingShow lessLilli.H

I love Google duo my friend has a Samsung phone and I have a iPhone and I could FaceTime her ever and I was voice calling and she sent me this app it is amazing and she said now we can see each other and face time I love it and how I can see her the only sad thing is I can’t share my screen but she and everyone else can do idk why but it just won’t let me but other wise I love this app I get to FaceTime friends that don’t have iPhones I get to see my grandparents through FaceTime too!! So thanks to this wonderful app I get to talk to family and friends! I give it 9.5/10 I 100% recommended getting if you can’t FaceTime friends bc of they don’t have or you don’t have the same phone so get this app it’s a life changer!!! ❤️Show lesshotty0099
It works. When it works.
So many issues. There is so much about this app that just makes me want to beat my iphone to the ground and then find the creator of this crappy garbage and rub their faces in the dirt and mop my bathroom floor with their hands and then make them eat their hands. That misery they would feel is what I feel when i try to use this app. I can't even talk to my friends without constant bugs and getting kicked off calls. The only good part of this app is the goofy filters and that's not even important. The budget for this app should be going towards making the app work, not having features that are intended to be used by 5 year olds and 80 year old grandmas when they click the wrong button because they don't know how to hang up. There are so many apps I would use instead of this, but I will admit that this is better than adobe connect. Congratulations. Yes, there are some good improvements here from the (THANKFULLY) still available original version. But the new version doesn’t have one of the most important features for iPad users.
THIS VERSION DISABLES THE CAMERA ON IPAD SPLIT SCREEN VIEW! Why is this not in here? Being able to have notes up next to my video screen was why I started pushing over to use Google Meet over every other broadly available option in the first place. I can’t glance at my agenda, take notes at a meeting, or anything on this app with my video disappearing and my colleagues staring at a static profile picture. WHY?
Until this feature is fixed/implemented, this app is USELESS and I have to keep using the original. Add all the other features, upgrades, improvements, and other awesome things you want, Google, but please don’t DROP important features like this. I don’t care if you have to disable lots of “extras” like funny filters, AR masks, effects, and the like when in split screen but crippling my ability to conduct or participate well in a meetings is dumbfounding.Show lessElkanah
