Waiting for food that was scheduled at 2pm

I ordered my Food at 1 pm and scheduled it for 2pm. I went inside and they told me the pick up window was outside. I waited outside for over 15 min then I went back inside to ask the hostess what was going on. She told me the person at the pick up window was by herself. My order was ready at 2pm. Now they told me to go back outside in the sun to get my order. This is unacceptable while I’m writing this I’m waiting for my order outside again in the sun. No one came to the window to say hold on a moment your order will be up soon nothing. The service here is lacking and I will never come back. Now it is 2:24 I came back inside to talk to manager. The managers name is is Kimberly and it took her 2 seconds. I got my order at 2:27.

DEAR TEXAS ROAD HOUSE

Texas Roadhouse is hands down the best option for family meals and my go-to spot for football nights! The food is unbeatable—whether you're digging into their perfectly cooked ribs, tender pork chops, or delicious steaks, everything is packed with amazing flavor. And let's not forget those iconic rolls and cinnamon butter—they're out of this world!

Not only is the food great, but the prices are super reasonable, making it a top choice when you want a great meal without breaking the bank. The family-friendly atmosphere is perfect, and I always leave satisfied.

I'm such a fan that I’m already planning to celebrate my graduation there! Who knows, maybe one day I’ll even score Texas Roadhouse for free for a year—dream big, right? Whether it's for a special occasion or just to enjoy some football with great food, Texas Roadhouse never disappoints!

Take Out

Terrible take out service. They really need to fix their procedures. My food was supposed to be ready at 5:30. We got there at 5:28. They text and said it wasn’t ready, stay in your car. Finally at 5:58 I got the text to go inside. Then I waited until after 6:15 in that crazy entry way for my food. They said “pretty sure it is ready in the back but we cannot have any more orders out here.” Totally terrible. I am fine waiting that long in my car but waiting in that cluster of Texas Roadhouse for that long was a freaken joke.

Seat Preference

While I visit Texas Roadhouse frequently, I always have to follow-up using the waitlist option on your app with a phone call requesting where I’d like to sit (ex. I prefer a table inside the Bar Ring). Can you incorporate an option that allows that sort of interaction/request while reserving a table (booth, table, at the bar, inside the Bar Ring, etc.). Because I always have to call to specify where I’d like to be seated - the employees at the restaurant suggested I do that instead of using the app - it kind of defeats the use of your app, even though the app is far more convenient instead of being placed on hold.

Watch locations carefully

Works and works well, but has a subtle flaw. The location list can update without warning, putting whatever it thinks is the closest location at the top. This resulted in us reserving at the wrong restaurant and, since the names started with the same letter, not realizing until we had gotten there, waited for the text, gotten the text, and dealt with an understandably confused hostess.

The wait was half an hour more at best when we’d already waited, so your app lost you a customer to Carrabba’s that night. Fine for us, but y’all might want to fix it to be more obvious when it’s changing options under the user.

Exceptional food/ experience

My wife has multiple sclerosis, so we tend not to eat in the restaurant a lot which leaves us with curbside pick up. The staff that come out to greet. You are very friendly and courteous and within just a few minutes your food is brought straight out to your car. I live in Youngsville, so by the time I get home, you would think that the food would be cold, but it’s not. It is always delicious, well cooked and well presented. One of my favorite restaurants in Wake Forest.

if you are reading this, please take my review serious because this is the best Texas Roadhouse I’ve ever eaten it. We arrived in Hot Springs Arkansas on yesterday which was a Monday. We got two steak meals and it was the best steak we have ever eaten. Today is Tuesday and I simply could not pass the place up so I got the chicken fried chicken, which was absolutely amazing. Toward the evening when it was time for dinner of course everybody wanted Texas roadhouse again because it was so good. I decided to get the ribs this time in my husband got the 24 ounce ribeye. It was amazing This place deserves to be featured on, one of the best places to eat in Hot Springs, Arkansas!

App sent order to different state—still waiting for refund

After using the app successfully numerous times, I had the misfortune of having it send my order to a completely different state. I was charged for the order and did not realize what happened until waiting to pick up my order at our local Texas Roadhouse. The restaurant actually helped figure out the issue. I had to place a new order and pay again as the refund needed to come from the restaurant that received the order and payment. I called the other restaurant to cancel the order, but no one there knew how to refund my money. They told me to expect a call from the one person who knew how to do this the next day. I waited and called again during the hours they said the person would be there with no luck. I have called repeatedly and have been told I would get a call back, but I still haven’t heard from them or received a refund. I want my money back. This is ridiculous. I would appreciate someone contacting me about this issue.

Almost perfect

Not a specific gripe about the app, but about the policy of some local franchises in Northeastern Florida. None of the restaurants allow the use of a delivery service, which doesn’t make sense, when to go orders are available. I was told it was the philosophy of the brand. I’m not sure if I was lied to by my local restaurant franchise owner or if really is a company wide philosophy, but not allowing delivery cuts down on tons of business and in inconvenient. I know I would definitely order more if delivery was available, so I wouldn’t have to leave my party and/or family to wait in a parking lot.

Doesn’t register my phone number

I have joined the waitlist multiple times hoping they fixed it but it still doesn't give me any notifications or anything. Think it might be that my phone number is from Puerto Rico(still not an excuse; service is still AT&T, it is a US territory and last I heard there is a Texas roadhouse planned to open this year of 2023 over there) If I ever actually get a notification after joining the waitlist on my phone or just get the option to have the notification be via email if the phone # doesn’t work that would be nice.
