The weather reporting is good but there no traffic reports that I can find. ### 3/5 — App is broken *2012-11-26* Used to be solid, but latest updates have made it unstable. ### 2/5 — No app support *2012-10-29* I once gave this app 5 ⭐'s, unfortunately updates have caused a few problems. 1. No left/right arrows to view my saved locations. 2. No way to report problems within the app. 3. The app support button when reviewing the app within the App Store states that the page cannot be found. My only option is to report these problems in a review. Before the last update, all was working great. ### 3/5 — Not Happy *2012-10-05* I loved this app as long as its been out! I am very happy you fixed the stupid future/past thing that never worked. And that dumb snow sleet rain indicator was fine when I wanted it but when it came on the screen automatically , then that was a no no!! NOW GIVE US THE ARROWS BACK AT THE TOP THAT TAKES US TO OUR FAVORITE CITIES. IT STILL SAYS MY LOCATION AND NO ARROWS ON EACH SIDE! GIVE THEM BACK!! ### 4/5 — Excellent !! *2011-02-07, version 1.5* I had to delete the app & reinstall-then the app worked perfectly. This the absolutely the best local weather app by far. ### 3/5 — Good display but inaccurate *2010-12-22, version 1.4* 3 stars, changed from 5 originally, see edits. This app is not accurate or consistent. It does any location! I saved Washington state and Massachusetts locations & a foreign city. Edit: still my preferred weather app. 2 requests: 1. Save last view, for instance, if I last looked at the Hourly, use that on next start. 2. Add a west coast animated satellite view with projected movement of highs/lows....like you show on the TV. Edit2: heh, guys, today's (Monday 7/12/2010) hourly high is 89deg, but the 10-day high is 91deg! Edit3: Today Monday 7/19 the app has the high for Tuesday in Sacramento as 90deg...but the 5pm weather has the high for Tuesday as 95deg!! Guys, that's a big difference! How about getting the app's Sac temps to agree with the TV weather...and get the daily temps to agree with the hourly highs and lows! Edit4: Dec 22, 2010 The precip layer on the map view seems inaccurate. I've been checking the last few days and it always shows more rain areas than actual. It has shown my location in a large band of rain but it's really dry. Another aviation-based precip map I compare to seems far more accurate. ### 4/5 — Grreat *2010-12-08* I love this. It tells me a lot i need to know and its very user friendly the only problem i have is that the map is a little small and a little to busy. Maybe fixable. ### 4/5 — Very useful. (: *2010-06-29* I really like News 10, so when I saw they had a weather app, I had to download it. I'm constantly checking the weather to decide what I'm going to wear the next day to work, whether or not I should leave my window open. I really like their doppler on the app too! The only suggestion I would give is it would be nice if we could enter our address so we can zero in on our location during the rainy/stormy season without zooming in over and over. I like the old way better. Is there anyway that we can change it to the way it used to work? A friend has the app and hers looks the same as it used to ### 1/5 — Latest update maps got ugly *2019-05-04* What happened to the nice looking map? Now the default is an ugly olive green, white is blinding bright, and dark is a dull gray. Had to stop watching New10 because of the changes (when you got rid of all the anchors) but still liked the weather app. Now this is no longer useful as well. Also unable to change my default city ### 1/5 — Inaccurate *2015-05-04* This used to be a 5 star accurate app, but now a 1 star. The temps on the 10 day forecast are 6 degrees higher than in the forecast I just watched on TV. Why such a difference? It makes me wonder if an outside party is controlling the app forecasts, instead of the local meterigists. Sad. I will have to find a more accurate app. ### 1/5 — Map layers don't work on IOS 6 since last update! *2014-02-08* This app worked great until the last update, but now the weather layers don't show up on my iPhone running IOS 6. Also, when I went to "App Support", a page came up that said "Oh, snap! The page you're looking for does not exist". I hardly ever write reviews but this is an essential for me. It is so accurate and precise and detailed and easy. I like how it gives hourly forecasts but my favorite is the rain radar feature. It is very accurate and I can plan my outdoor activities by watching the radar. I erased all other weather apps and only use this It blows all the other local weather apps out of the water! I just downloaded the traffic app so well see if it's as good as this. ### 5/5 — Outstanding weather app!! *2011-03-20, version 1.6* If you live in the foothills you know that it's difficult getting an accurate forecast from any of the weather service providers, or network weather crews. It seems like most of them just give a vague description of the following days forecast, that is if we're lucky to get anything at all. Well suffer no more, News 10 has implemented the Doppler, 10 day forecast, hourly forecast, & weather alert systems to your specific area. My husband & I use the (app) on our iphones constantly, especially when we have inclement weather. The app is specific enough to show rain or snow on Doppler, to let us know when to expect the storm & at what elevation the snow level will be. Its been correct so many times that we've come to rely on it for our winter storm warnings rather than watch TV. We are also able to watch the storm come & go with the Doppler feature, I can't tell you how fascinating & valuable that's been for us. The app has all these features free to download to your phone or computer. Everytime one of our friends or family members gets a new phone we are sure to tell them about this amazing application/website. But I want the option for past plus future precipitation, radar back. Now I constantly get error messages telling me to turn off airplane mode (not on) or connect to wi-fi (not always possible). The only suggestion I have is to make an app specifically for the iPad, not just one compatible on the iPhone andiPad.
