## What is 11 Plus Blocks?

Four courses, 1,636 questions, and five block characters who grow taller every time your child answers one.

11 Plus Blocks covers the whole 11 Plus in short sessions that fit where revision actually happens: the school run, ten minutes before bed, a wait at the dentist. Then, when the exam gets close, it builds and prints real papers for them to sit at the kitchen table.

Sitting more than one child through the 11+? Family Sharing covers all of them.

WHAT IS INSIDE

Maths: 280 questions across the full syllabus, from place value and fractions to area, angles and 3D shapes.

English: 576 questions on grammar, punctuation, figurative language, homophones, prefixes and suffixes, and the 242 words most worth knowing.

Verbal Reasoning: 200 questions. Letter sequences, codes, analogies, hidden words, odd one out.

Non-Verbal Reasoning: 220 questions, each with artwork drawn for that question. Rotations, reflections, matrices, series and the odd one out.

36 quizzes, 360 questions, to test what has actually stuck.

242 flash cards, every one with a clear definition and a sentence showing the word in use.

Two difficulty settings throughout, so a child starts where they are.

BUILD REAL EXAM PAPERS

Pick one course or all four, then narrow it to the topics that actually need work. Every topic shows how many questions it can contribute before you choose it, and a running total tells you what the paper can draw on, so nothing is a surprise.

Set the level to Easy, Hard or both, choose a length from 10 questions up to 50, and mix in the quiz tests if you want a bit of everything. Questions are dealt evenly across whatever you chose rather than taken off the top of one topic.

That is what makes it your child's paper rather than a random one. If they keep losing marks on rotations, build twenty questions of nothing but rotations and put it in front of them on Saturday morning.

Every paper comes with an answer key, and a time allowance worked out from the question types on it, so your child can sit it properly and you can mark it afterwards.

Print it straight from the app. Exam papers are kept in a library, and with an account they appear on every device: build one on a laptop, print it from your phone.

WHY CHILDREN COME BACK TO IT

Blockie shows your child around, and four friends stand behind him, one to a course: Sumie takes Maths, Wordie English, Codie Verbal Reasoning and Shapie Non-Verbal. Every answer earns a block, and blocks make them taller. Blockie counts all four courses at once.

Watching a friend gain a block is a far better reason to open an app than watching a percentage move.

There are streaks, achievements, a ten-question daily target, and a practice reminder at a time you choose. Home screen widgets show how the friends are getting on without opening the app.

FOR PARENTS

It works offline. Everything is on the device, so a tunnel does not end a session.

You can see how much practice is actually happening. The Parents Area shows minutes today, this week and all time, with a bar for each day. It counts only minutes spent answering, so leaving the app open on the sofa cannot run the number up.

No advertising. No tracking. No chat, no user content, and nothing a stranger can say to your child.

Progress is kept on the device and in your own iCloud backup. An account carries it to another device, and the app never asks a child for one.

Built for iPhone and iPad, in light and dark.

WHAT IT COSTS

Free to download, and free to try properly: the first topic of every category in all four courses, at both difficulty settings, plus the first three quizzes and the first twenty flash cards.

Exam papers work the same way: three free ones, built from those same free questions.

One payment then unlocks everything else, permanently, for everyone in your Family Sharing group. No subscription, and nothing else to buy.
