## What is 11+ Verbal Reasoning Practise?

This app contains 24 full length verbal reasoning practice papers.
There are 1,920 individual questions covering all 21 types of questions asked in 11+ Grammar School selection tests and Independent school common entrance examinations. Within each question type we cover all of the variances, all of the difficulty levels and with a generic approach we ensure that the course is easy to follow for both facilitator and student.

This app is one of the apps in 11+ apps series published by us with comprehensive material and innovative design that make 11+ exam preparation a fun.

DETAILED TEST RESULTS 

On the completion of each test the user is given a summary of questions answered correctly, incorrectly and skipped along with the time taken on each question. Every question can be reviewed and all questions have an explanation of the answer. 

PROGRESS MONITOR 

An interactive pie chart displays current progress for each topic. You can touch the different color slices of the pie and choose if you wish to answer only incorrectly answered questions, unattempted or correctly answered questions. This feature is very useful to achieve 100% score in each topic. 

MOCK TEST 

After you have practiced all types of questions, you can take a Mock Test with 80 questions. The Mock Test has questions selected randomly from each topic. Scores for the mock tests taken in the past are displayed in a bar chart. This is a great way to track how you are progressing in mock tests. There is no limit on how many mock tests you can take.

About Verbal Reasoning

There are 164 grammar schools in England; 95% of them set Verbal Reasoning tests as part of their selection process. Most independent schools also set Verbal Reasoning tests based on the 11+ format.

The most common tests are administered by GL Assessment, they use questions created by NFER. There are 21 question types that contain variances and difficulty levels. Most test papers contain 80 questions with a selection of 13 question types from the 21.

My daughter needed to prepare for the 11+ and only had 4 weeks to do so. This app was perfect and in using both the verbal and non verbal reasoning together in small chunks she was able to gain the experience and confidence needed, and she passed the test with a much higher than needed mark. I would definitely recommend this app, it is perfect and well targeted for its purpose.

I haven’t done much yet, but a find a test relaxing before I go to bed sometimes.
They are, preparing me for my 11+ exams and teaching me loads of things that I wouldn’t have learned at primary school.
If I were doing tests at school, I would be more under pressure with them more than I am at home. 
But now I can just do them whenever I want to rather than me going to school and then without pairing, they’re telling me I need to do a test.
I think these tests will really help me in future, so that’s why I rated this a four star app. 
I didn’t vote five stars because the test was easy. They were harder than stuff that I’d like to school so I was really prepared to press begin test and there be all these different things coming up on the screen. I have no idea what they are so if I got a question wrong and it was at the bottom show me how to workout the calculation if I got it right or wrong.
But I love having this app and I will use it more often now as I’m getting closer and closer to going into high school and taking my 11+ exams. Thank you.

I mean I have an 11+ in September and I’m doing the past so I feel like you shouldn’t have to pay for education and it should help you work out the answers other than just say you’re wrong you’re right you’re on the right

The non-verbal reasoning app works really well, but on this app the questions do not show.  You just get a list of answers to choose from.  Fix this bug and I am sure it will be as good as the non-verbal app. (Ipad2)
