PVE Remote for Proxmox User Reviews

Top reviews

Current crashes on iOS 11.3.1.

App doesn’t load on current iOS version (have tried with iPhone X, 8 Plus, 6s Plus, and an iPad Pro 10.5).

Normally I’d refrain from complaining in a review and address the issue with the developer, but the link from the App Store takes you to a deal URL, with no way to get assistance.

This app has a fairly hefty price tag, so not that pleased. It has had a recent update so I hope it’s not abandoned.

Needs more functionality

Good start, VNC support is great but needs more functionality for the price - for example being able to provision a VM or container, or live migrate. Essentially only a read only viewer at the moment.

Quite a shame

I really don't like giving bad reviews, but for something that costs this much, I feel obligated.
I really enjoy my new Proxmox 5.0 server, but I'm also a little annoyed because it seems like it can ONLY be fully managed on a desktop's web browser, not something like my iPhone's Safari or Chrome browsers. I was hoping that this app could help bridge the gap that the deprecated web browsers couldn't.

Unfortunately, I've found that this app does nothing more than what the mobile web interface can do. Maybe the app hasn't updated to the newest API, but the graphs don't even load yet, and the VNC console doesn't work either. I'm highly disappointed and am still searching for a solution to mobile management of my Proxmox server.

More options

Wish there was a way to perform restart options on the whole server/node. Not worth it for $6.99.

Missing key feature

I love the app and the functionality it provides but all of my proxmox nodes authenticate against LDAP and this app only supports PAM and PVE. If you don't need LDAP this is a great way to do quick and dirty management and monitoring. Hopefully we can get other authentication options in future versions.

Looks good, missing core features

This app is great, you can visually see all performance metrics and start/stop a vm. It does everything I want, but it lacks a password vault.

Normally for a management app you would have different device profiles with a credentials management vault.

Because of this I would have to remember all the pro xox servers for various clients and locations by address, which I dont.

This is fine for a tool for my home lab, but for actual MSP use it isn't quite there.

If it had this I'd have given a 5 star rating.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. Stay tuned :)

Disappointed

Can't manage containers only VM's. The interface in extremely slow to refresh. Web interface is better then this app.

Response from developer

LXC Containers are now supported, please download the update and if satisfied, update your review.
