All this app did was import the same text from the file. There is no summary at all. Just wasted six bucks for nothing.azschaefer

Have you tried to use the slider at the bottom of the summary page to adjust the size? Summary size is easily customizable.Upgrade Feature
I’m going to say I do appreciate the app.
Although, I was hoping that the upgrade features come with an option that allowed the user to use the camera to read the words from any book/paper and convert it to text. This would have been extremely helpful and would save many people from having to buy books and so fourth. So Mr. designer, this app needs some extra sauce ASAP🍳 Thank you...
And now, I have to type everything up *thinking about my 5 bucks*, and save it to my iCloud so that your app can pull it up and summarize it because the book can’t be found online as it is a college book.

Hi there mrkl3an, We’re glad that you appreciate SemanTer. Regarding your suggestion. There are at least two good reasons why we think it’s inappropriate to implement: 1) Stability and working speed of the application in this case will depend on quality of given photos (luminance level, quality of the camera and other subjective parameters), not to mention time the user have to spend on taking a picture of every page in the book (this might be 300 or even 1000 pages). 2) Your remark «This would … save many people from having to buy books and so fourth.» might be considered as a violation of publishers copyright. We’d like to note that professional grade summaries of highest quality for texts of any volume in seconds is distinctive feature of our application. This app does nothing that it advertises. Much of the file uploading and processing doesn’t account for title pages, citations, etc. existent in most pdf journals. Beyond that, when it’s time to click “summarize,” the app crashes and closes. I even tried to test with a text-only doc. which this time resulted in no crash...but a frozen page. The summarize button is certainly available to click, but don’t expect the app to react whatsoever after doing so.Show lesskmoneeeeey

Our support team hasn't registered any crashes or errors, including the last several days - app works stable. If you need any help to get better understanding on how to work with the app - just drop an email at info@semanter.com. Our support team will respond to you shortly! Regarding your feedback: 1) We don't have "Summarize" button for files - only for webpages. Files are summarized automatically when you click on the file icon in popup dialog. 2) If you don't see "title pages, citations, etc" in PDF journals, you've probably set summary size too small.
