The alerts for my area the symbol won’t come off after everything expired. This app use to be good but now has problems

Hello, we are pleased to report this issue has been resolved. You can now clear old/expired alerts by clicking on the icon in the top right hand corner on the Alerts page. By default, both active and expired alerts are displayed. We appreciate users like you that are willing to provide feedback so we can make improvements such as this. Thank you!

Useless

I Downloaded and installed this app and the icon kept showing I had alerts but upon opening the app it shows “no alerts.” During blizzard conditions….still no alerts. Deleted app and reinstalled…. Same thing. This app is useless!

Why won’t alerts go away?

Awesome concept, but I received my first alert and the notification tag won’t leave the app. Restarted my phone and nope, still there.

Useless App

There are fires, smoke and evacuation in my area and it shows nothing for alerts. The couple of times I did get alerts it was for areas no where near me. Do not waste your time with this app.

The alert noise

Omg. Every time I’m wearing my AirPods this alert is on high blast, feels like my ears are bleeding it’s so loud.

Notification number doesn’t decrease.

Notifications work however my app still says I have 21 alerts/notifications would be nice if that would update and disappear after you look at the alerts like text messages. It’s quite irritating!

I updated to iOS 14 yesterday; now this app no longer works. I’m in Oregon.

Public safety alerts

Downloaded this app because we are dealing with wildfires here. It says it offers public safety alerts but I just drove through a level 1 evacuation zone. Also put in my home location which is level 3. Mandatory evacuations. No alerts available.

Sounds not working

The alerting seems to work, but there are no audible sounds. I have sounds turned on in settings, but still nothing.

Just what I needed!

This app does a wonderful job of keeping you alerted to the latest weather warnings/watches and advisories (it has a setting that allows you to determine what you want to receive).

I have found a weather app that I like but it doesn’t have alerts. This app fills that gap nicely! It is well worth the download!
