Nothing can get done, terrible UX, slow server response. Basically unusable.

Ureka!! Finally found a tech that walked me through set-up. Gary was awesome! He go us all good to go. We figured out that we needed to connect through 2.4g Not out 5g and we were trying to connect with Net gear which I think has probably 5g or something that wasn’t compatible to our adaptors. Gary helped us through many calls to daikin and we did it. One major clue is dont finalize password until all units are on your app Everything is working the way it should. Patience is key!

Does not connect
Despite the horrific reviews, I still decided to give Daikin Wi-Fi adapter a shot. It turns out to be a huge waste of money and time, and worst of all, no one seems to be able to help!
First there are literally dozens of “DAIKIN” apps on App Store. I am in the U.S. so I am supposed to use this one? Extremely confusing and user unfriendly.
Then I tried to set up my BRP069B41 with my Emuras. However, although physically connected, I simply cannot make my Emura show up in the app!
The 2 ways offered from the app both failed relentlessly and repeatedly. to connect, both failed: 1) Using AP, my iPhone can connect to it's AP wifi no problem, but then the app says smartphone failed to connect to a adapter. WHY??? 2) Using WPS setup, it successfully connected to my router (and it shows up in my router's device list) and the RUN led has turned solid. The the app then says no units found. WHY???
DAIKIN is literally destroying its own brand if such basic stuff can’t be fixed and I won’t hesitate a little to spread the words.

Application is poorly written
This app is terrible. Being able to control my Daikin heat pump remotely was the reason I bought the WIFI module.
The only way to get this app to work is to log into the "not at home server", even when you're at home! I called and asked their support about this and they are fully aware and that's the only solution they have to offer.
Complete garbage.

Horrible
L adaptateur ainsi que l app daikin confort ne fonctionne pas dutout. J ai perdu un temps fou a essayer de nouveau de le faire fonctionner. Ce module wifi est dispendieux et ne fonctionne absolument pas!!! Le contrôle à distance était pourtant une exigence de notre part. Nous nous sentons lésé. Peut être y a t il un nouvel app qui fonctionne avec l adaptateur dont nous n avons pas connaissance ?? Une chose est certaine nous avons fait l achat d un adapteur qui devrais fonctionner … Daikin devrait donc fait un service client adapté et pas nous laisser dans l ignorance.

Mediocre app but works
V 2.0 may be slightly better but the app is clunky and there is no control over the fan speed. Mitsubishi makes a way better app, if your relying on lots of remote control as I am as these are in rental units, go with Mitsubishi. I have those too, and the app is way better.

The new minisplit unit works fine but my experience, combined with the overwhelming feedback throughout ALL the Daikin wifi apps reviews seems they are KNOWINGLY selling a wifi feature that neither works nor has any support. Contacting tech support their response is to see my installer. He is an AC professional—NOT an IT professional.

Garbage, never works properly, paid a bit of money for the WiFi module add ons. The app for them is crap. If the power goes out I lose the units and they stay out until the power goes out again. Please make a new app! One that works!
