Not an easy midi player

Too much work just to play midi files. Doesn’t use iPadOS filesystem well at all, creating dependencies on iTunes which should never have been necessary.

Awesome

Best app I’ve ever used for multitrack live performances. Works flawlessly.

Great App for basic clicks, counts and tracks.

I’ve been using Ableton Live for basically count-in and clicks for a live show, which is kind of overkill if you’re not using tracks. But we rely on the in-ear count offs for a polished show. Was excited to find this app, which greatly reduces the amount of “stuff” I need to haul around. The user interface makes sense and I was quickly able to use the app and get the show set up. USB-C on iPads opens a whole new world for this type of thing. If you’re running basic tracks, this app does exactly what it says it does. Very happy to go from racks of gear to a backpack!

Versitle playback App

Can be used in a multitrack mode, so you can control the every individual track, or just play in a single mixdown track. The only thing I found it could have been more intuitive. A big thumps up for customer support though. I would recommend this if you perform live.

Awesome!

I can not say enough good things about this app. It is absolutely a must Have! With things closing down because of COVID, we went from a five piece band to a duo. I decided to track all the missing instruments so we could still sound like a full band. Enter Multitracker! I not only use it to play backing tracks, but with midi, I can set it to load my lyrics and guitar presets. When he adds the ability to map program changes within the song, I will use it to switch to the next page on lyrics and switch presets on guitar during a lead, then back to rhythm! There absolutely no app available that does what it does without having to paying a monthly fee to access your content.

Awesome

Simply the best.

Life saver during COVID

Was just about getting good enough to play with others when COVID hit. Now Band in a Box with Multitracker is keeping me on a roll. Easy to use and and fun to work with.

Only app of its kind...

This app is just what I needed for running backing tracks and controlling my Line6 Helix for a tribute band that I’m forming. I scoured the internet endlessly for an app that has this type of functionality, and this is only one I found that met my needs. Sebastian has been very helpful and patient with my numerous questions, a few of which could have been found in the online manual, despite our language barrier (the barrier is on my end, Sebestian’s English is very good, and I’m sure the phrasing of my questions could sometimes be confusing to anybody). I still don’t quite understand the “two-folder file management” concept quite yet, but I have the app running everything just as expected. There is definitely a slight learning curve to the app, but the time spent to understand it fully is well worth the effort.

Early on, I did manage to crash the app while attempting to load multiple files from the iCloud simultaneously, and was forced to uninstall/reinstall the app to get it open, which unfortunately deleted all the work I had done at the time. Just remember to DOWNLOAD ONE FILE AT A TIME. Starting over was not that big of an issue, since I used the opportunity to edit some of the files to a better volume level and organize them better. I’ve never had even the slightest hiccup in the app during playback use, which is where it really counts.

In any case, I feel the app is well worth the price, and I highly recommend it if your looking to run tracks from an iPad.

very nice!

i looked everywhere, and this is the only app I could find that does what it does. Its easy to use and just works. The only thing missing for me is a text area for songs that you could use for lyrics or chord change notes. Highly recommended.

How u gonna expect people to enjoy the app with no audio?

There a reason why when I play my midi I can hear nothing!! Absolutely nothing 😡
