Still waiting for a fix

This was a great (4 of 5) app until it fell behind and didn’t work with iOS 11.

Wait to buy the camera until this app is updated, if ever. No other software appears to be able to control this camera either. Dry frustrating.

No iOS 11 and up support for the preview feature.

As you know the YI M1 is a fixed-screen mirrorless camera. The purpose I downloaded this app was to be able to use the live preview feature while I record. To my surprise I set up everything to find out that there is no support for iOS 11 and up devices. I should not be penalized for having the most up to date firmware. Please fix this.

Terrible

Felt like I was cheated! Bought the camera, the app not even working!!! Not support IOS 11 or higher? The camera overall is terrible! You can get better quality from Sony or Nikon with almost same amount you would spend on this camera! Terrible chinese product!

Remote Photo and Video Are Broken

This app does not work on iOS 11+. It was never very good because it disallowed taking photos and videos without the included lens attached to the camera

UPDATE THE APP

I can't use the app cuz my iOS is over 11 please fix this it was so useful

Update the app

Please update the app, it won’t let me use the remote function through the phone. It was saying that my iOS software didn’t work on the app anymore. It’s already updated to iOS 11.3

Not working with IOS11???

Everything connects fine until it pops up saying live preview is not supported on IOS11, pretty pointless app otherwise..

On firmware 3.1

Freezes every time.

iPhone SE with latest app and 3.1 firmware on the Yi M1. The app freezes every single time within seconds of connecting. I reinstalled the app and restored the camera to default - nothing will work.

Nice to have but needs more options.

A few things that make this app a miss for me though I know Yi will improve upon it.
1. No landscape mode.
-add this and make it mimic the actual screen camera LCD would be awesome that way if your doing selfie style shots or vlog you can see what you are shooting with the phone mounted on top with a hot shoe mount and adjust settings.
2. Can't start video recording with app connected and can't make any setting changes via the camera if live mode is on. Not even start a video manually with the cameras button.
3. I have a 50mm Nikon lens I love to use but because the lense and adapter have no electrical connection the app does not let me shoot any photos it says "lens missing" which I can shoot photos fine when not connected via the app.
