Amazing but...
Played this game and absolutely loved it so much I payed £7.99 to unlock the rest of it, to my disappointment this only included a constant re-play of bosses on the campaign, no new cards etc. And the multiplayer never works! I can never find a game :( this is really disappointing as yes, I can play against ai over and over again choosing different players it is getting repetitive. For £7.99 I was hoping for 100s of new cards, chapters etc. Not disappointed but just a let down. Over all though other than that abs love this gameShow lesselle252001
Immensely fun game, lacking only for Local Multiplayer.
From my first discovery of Evolution’s existence I was absolutely enamored with the concept, and playing it on release I was not disappointed, a solid and fun design, presentation, and shifting Meta-Game that rewards strategic adaptation. I am happy to be part of the Evolution Community. My only qualms are with the game’s stability on my iPad Air 1, I feel there could be more optimization for 1gb devices to reduce crashing, which occurs quite frequently for me. Another factor which I was hugely excited about, was to play this game Hotseat with my SO, please add offline multiplayer in a future update. It would be our go to co-op gaming pastime. Thanks Salem! Hotseat is up next as soon as we get all the bugs all fixed. There is a memory leak hitting Air 1's and Mini 2's, we'll get it fixed in the next update.Wow!
Okay, lemme just say that I’ve been LOOKING for a game just like this.
I’ve searched Steam, tried every app available in this store and where do I find it? Barnes and Noble.
Okay, I found the board game at Barnes and Noble, but still... I saw it and actually laughed, because I knew what it was before I checked the box. I bought it and played it with my family immediately but they didn’t seem as excited as I was. I mean, I spent $30 on a board game, of course they were skeptical!
But they got over it once we played the game, and after we finished I was looking in the directions for some information about these amazing people who created this masterpiece. I did a little research, found this app, and pre-ordered it immediately.
The app is even more perfect than I imagined, with a simple tutorial to a complex game.
I only have one complaint; if I already bought Evolution:The Board Game, shouldn’t I get a free pass to Evolution: The Video Game?

Feels just like the board game
I have been waiting for the app to come out for about a year now, and I was impressed by how well they made it. The art and interface are very pleasing, and there’s some good quality of life features, like automatically counting food and feeding. Very easy for a new person to get into and learn how to play. Also, for those with kids, this could be a good way to play the game without your cards being ruined.
That said, there are some minor rule changes for how long neck and fertile work (take place the turn they are played instead of one after), but it didn’t detract from the experience. I anxiously wait for the Evolution Climate and Flight additions!Show lessGalen Picard

Great Game, Two Issues
Love the gameplay, just like the board game. A little small on the iPhone X, but you can easily enlarge cards to see them, so no problem there. Only two issues:
There is supposed to be an IAP to purchase the full game, but I cannot find it. Seriously, guys, I’m trying to give you money!
You cannot create an account. You can only log into an existing account, and I have no idea where to go to get an account.Show lessjkeitz

Polished and Fun Game!
Whether or not you have played the board game, this app version is a blast! The AI, gameplay, and artwork are all exceptional. It is obvious that a lot of time and thought went into this release.
I am a big fan of the board game (check it out!), but the video game does things the tabletop version can’t do. Each new level introduces new challenges. For example, one level is a desert and food is scarce; another level has so much food that outpacing your opponents becomes difficult (one of the objectives is to eat the most food).
There are just a couple of minor interface issues. The pinch zoom is a little glitchy, and it took me a while to figure out that holding down a card enlarges it. Tech support was very helpful though.

I’ve been playing this throughout the beta. The dev team have poured their passion and skill into this app and it shows throughout the interface, UI, gameplay, music and artwork.
