  • Great Puzzle Game but Hint System Doesn’t Work

This is a great puzzle game that really makes you think ahead, but the built in hint system never has hints for those times when you get stuck on a level. Other than that, perfect game to pass lots of time.
  • Not worth the cost

I will start out by saying that I really enjoyed playing this game. But, given the cost I expected a lot more. I beat all the levels very quickly, and unless you want to replay things you already know the solution to your only option is to have a very small number of moves in the continuous play, and then come back in 3 hours. And no, I don't want to pay for 30 seconds every three hours with a game I paid for.

Thanks for the feedback on my game. Most players take 10-15 hours to complete the game and it can taken even longer if you try to beat all the achievements. I think if you compare this to other app store games, that's a great value for the price, which is less than a Starbucks mocha. I'm working on an update that will track your high scores for the Arcade worlds. You can then replay those areas to try to beat your best time and beat the puzzles in fewer moves. You can also follow me on twitter to get updates about future puzzle packs.
  • Beautiful, intuitive and accessible

This is a beautiful game both visually and in design. When a color-based game has colorblind accessibility built seamlessly into the tutorial in a no-nonsense way, I’m sold.
But beyond the accessibility, it’s a visually pretty game; the colors are cheerful, but soothing and fit with the relaxing, water-based design really well. The fish (Bloop) is cute and adds to gameplay. Finally, the game itself has hints and help, but is intuitive enough for a regular puzzler to solve without using them.

So far, I’ve finished the first world in about 30 minutes of playing and am looking forward to the remaining worlds. Each world has plenty of levels so I anticipate enjoying this one for a while. :)

All in all- definitely worth the $4.99 for supporting this well-developed, well-designed game.

  • Beautiful, Organic & Clever

Beautifully designed game with just the perfect amount of complexity. Gets progressively more challenging as the levels progress. If you’re after a lightweight distraction, this is a must have. I didn’t really get stumped until the second to last puzzle, but there were many that took an embarrassing amount of tries to accomplish. Nevertheless, I felt like I could accomplish without having to buy a power up of some sort, and I appreciated that.

  • excellent new idea for a puzzle game!

love this game! it was quick to learn and hard to put down. the game play, colors and sounds, and cute little fish are all extremely enjoyable. my only complaint and suggestion is that the endless mode be turned into something that is actually endless. i really like playing it, but find myself getting super frustrated by always having to wait for more moves and come back later. please make the endless mode something you could truly sit down and play endlessly!

  • Love it but needs more levels

The design of the game and the sounds are really pleasing but i was disappointed in the amount of levels. Could also use a little more detailed instructions. Overall still loved it and finished the whole game within a week!
  • More levels please!

This is the most addictive thing I've played in a long time. I'm through what's there now, when does the next set drop? :)
  • REVISED:

My original review made valid points, but after playing this game some more---a LOT more--it's way better than my initial estimate. Once you get through more of the games, you get your choice of replaying your faves for a more zen experience or setting yourself on the harder challenges if you're in the mood for that. Playing the infinity level for additional hints helps the tickets really add up (I'm currently at over 100) so you've got a better chance of getting through the tougher games. There are still some issues: just can't get through some of the levels and there should be a way to unlock them once you've played a few times, and it would be nice to have hints available for all of the games. Overall, though, this *is* a winner. It's cute, I love the little fish, the colors are pretty, the soundscape is sweetly amusing. Thanks to the developer's response for making me take a closer look.

    ------------
Starts out cute, then becomes annoyingly challenging and hints become hard to come by. If I paid for a game I want a way to get through it or it wastes my time. Provide as many hints as needed. What's the point of a game that keeps a low level player stuck? I just want to relax with a pretty game.

Thanks for the feedback Anne. You are right, we don't want anyone to get stuck. Let's see if I can help you. Try holding down on a bubble to see mix help. Also the Infinity Game lets you collect tickets which can be used for puzzle hints. After you get to the top of Foam School, from the main map, tap the button that appears in the top right of the screen. In Infinity Mode you make matches with tickets in them to collect the tickets. Also I would be happy to help you with written hints. Let me know how I can help you enjoy the game more. You can email us or join our Discord community: see https://pinestreetcodeworks.com/support
  • Soothing & intriguing

I have been having a great experience with this game. It makes me think in several directions and the music is complementary to the whole experience.
  • My kind of game

Love this game. Hard enough but not impossible. Very attractive with sounds and music I enjoy. I usually turn it off on most games. I don’t know if it’s me, but I have gotten to a level that I can’t cross and it has no hints or help attached. It’s Tricky Tides, Twins Reunited. I did a search for “walkthroughs” and found one, but I doesn’t seem to work for me. Is there a way to get help, or am I completely finished enjoying this game?
