Please fix ASAP!?!
1 out of 40 login attempts will actually make it past the login screen. After logging in and getting to the “home” screen, that 1 time out of 40, it immediately freezes up. From the 2 times I’ve managed to get to the “home” screen, it looked cool, but that’s the only positive comment I can make about it. I’d really like to see, what the positive reviews are able to see, with this app. I wanted to see how popular the system is in my local area, both commercially and privately, before I even bothered to seriously consider dropping $400 on one of their BRX guns. Please fix ASAP!?!?!

2022 starting off well
CallSign got a much needed update. Players join A LOT faster now. Used to take 1-2 mins for a player to join a game now 10-20 seconds.
Also you can modify every setting from game time to weapon pick ups. We had no disconnects during our matches so it was fun to play with the app to add another level of gameplay to the BRX.
Another nice update was that we can now use our respawn QR codes with the app. Before this you always respawned in 10 seconds. Now you can adjust this time or force the players to run to the red or blue respawn QR code.
4 stars because the new game mode isn’t perfect yet. The shrinking map is a cool concept but we found you basically touch your phone screen to keep yourself in the safe zone. It doesn’t matter where you physically run to except to find cover or chase an opponent.

Poor user interface, Unable to get it to work
Ultimately we ended up using our new BRX guns without this app because the app experience was so poor. We were never able to reliably host a game and have the other three join it, which seems like something they should’ve gotten figured out by now.
Syncing rarely works
I want to love this game so bad. We have eight of the BRX guns even put on our own sights and scopes put on. But the connectivity with our phones is so trash. It’s super spotty and virtually impossible to connect our phones and start games. There are no alert menus or feedback when something has happened so it’s really tough to get any feedback. I feel like these are simple fixes but in the 9 months we’ve had them it’s been the same (although there was a time when we were able to get 4 out of 5 games started but lately we’re back to none).
I think part of this is a UX issue but also fundamentally an issue with the app itself.

Love the local laser tag but hate how they track stats.
It is great and fun place to play but the only thing I don’t like is how inconsistent the stat tracking is. I could do really good in games but I will look on the app and it doesn’t keep track of them.
Friends and I use it for BRX
Seems like some folks have trouble pairing BRX to their devices. We’ve spent a good amount of time learning the beat way to make the best of the app. To be honest took a good amount of time invested and testing setting up WiFi networks for phones without cell service for some unique game styles. Also it was a tough road at times with gun firmware updates and app updates to make sure everything is smooth. After becoming somewhat of an expert on utilizing the app it really does take the BRX gaming to the next level. The ability to recreate modern multiplayer video game environments is really something else and I would honestly say allows us to create a game Emerson that is much more superior than any commercial laser tag experience as you can truly customize a unique game to whatever tactical type of scenario you would like and also track status real time.
We have a ton of the BRX blasters and use them for church group events and youth events as well as work parties. The BRXs are rad on their own but the ability to be even more digital takes it to the next level. The capture the flag mode is really sweet and then talk to battle company about the QR code packs for creating weapon spawn points and respawn points throughout your play arena/area as this allows for a huge complexity and video game recreation. The weapon respawns and even life respawns can be customized to a time limit for how often a weapon can be picked up and how long a player has to wait to respawn back into the game.
We have a Facebook informational page on all things BRX and YouTube help videos for folks too for friends who play with us locally but obviously anyone can access the info. Search BRX Community on Facebook and feel free to catch up on a ton of reading. But please read up before asking redundant questions on the page.

WAAAY BETTER THAN LASERQUEST!!
I was there, I was a kid and my gun number was number 18 and this place requires accuracy because you have to shoot at their heads unlike laser quest, it’s a small headband not a giant vest that’s heavy and uncomfortable, there’s 10,000 square feet of space for you to run and hide. The guns are a tiny bit defective cause my gun stopped working twice during the game but the support they have is extraordinary they fixed my gun in no time after looking in to it for a bit.
There are a variety of guns ranging from a assault rifle to a flamethrower in a very light 3LB gun! The sniper rifle is very difficult if your aim is bad, it’s almost always a one shot to the head, it’s also the gun I got my 47 kills with! I would live here if I could and I never had that feeling before! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves competition and a test in accuracy. 10/10 better than laser quest.

No accessibility
I’m loving the blasters, but there’s no accessibility in this application for the blind and the visually impaired. If you could make the Application accessible, so that the Screen reader will be able to read the buttons or labels, that would be great. Another alternative is to provide an audio menu.

Don’t bother buying
There not worth the price tag. After buying 6 of them expecting to play with my kids and friends I realized you can’t connect the brx to your phone and after 2 years of begging for an update they still don’t have the ability to connect. Save your money and buy a cheap hooker, the pleasure will last longer.
